Answer:	I would think they could be swished in warm water with a drop of baby shampoo and then rinsed and dried by siting on a hand towel. I did not try washing them and they made my mask leak more where they ended as I have a skinny face. It was worth a try for me but they did work for a friend and they swished them to clean them.

Answer:	I've only used them with a CPAP mask, but they are thin and flexible and I don't see why they couldn't be used with cloth masks.

Answer:	I'm not sure if I fully understand your question, but, it said to put on your nose under your mask so that is what he did. They just would not stay in place and kept rolling up. He just has the strap that goes around his head to keep the mask in place.

Answer:	When you turn it on, it is not in the last mode it was running. It is in the next mode in the cycle. It cycles from high to low to strobe with each click, in that order. So if you have it on high and then turn it off. The next time you turn it on, it will be in low. The next time you turn it on, it will be in strobe. The next time it will be in high mode. I like to carry mine in high mode so the last mode it is in before I turn it off and put it away is strobe mode.
Question:	Which orientation do the batteries go in? I don't see that in the directions or labelled on the flashlight itself
Answer:	I use 14500 3.7v batteries (AA size) in these which makes them far brighter than a 1.5v battery. These cree-5 LED's were designed for higher voltage so they look extremely dim to me with 1.5v batteries.

Answer:	The zoom feature does not have to be used which is like not having a zoom feature.

Answer:	On average, I get about 5-6 hours on low before the it gets noticeably & rapidly dimmer. I won't test a bright light's run times on high. Running these types of lights continuously on high for a long time tends to wear out the phosphors inside, making the gradually become a little dimmer each time. Not only that, but running them at high for a long time makes the LED & electronics run hotter. That shortens the lifetime of the LED, & electronics a lot, & you may risk burning your lights out if they get too warm. In a power failure or off-grid situation, running them on low to make the battery last longer, is still plenty bright enough for most night situations.
Question:	Does the light turn back on to the same mode that it was in when it was turned off? Other lights force you to cycle every time it's turned on and off

From what I've read about the 14500, yes they should provide an edge in brightness but with prolonged use, they are said to become extremely overheated, to the possibility of damaging the flashlight. Stick with the AA's and you won't be sorry.

Question:	Does this light have 2 or 3 output levels? The description first says 2 then says 3, which is correct
Answer:	Only tested it on the high setting. With a fully recharged 26650 li-ion battery (5200mAh) on HIGHEST output, it stays bright enough(>80% brightness) for practical use for 5 hours then becomes a lot dimmer(~10% brightness) after 6 hours. Using a 3400mAh protected 18650 battery it usually gives you preferred high brightness for about 2.5 hours. The good thing about this flashlight is it can also take regular AAs although they are not as powerful and long-lasting as the li-ion ones. In the weekend camping or night hiking scenarios, I would primary use it with MEDIUM output for longer run-time.
Question:	Can I use Energizer lithium battery in it
Answer:	Focus adjustment on this unit is a push and pull - not a twist - I was able to do it one handed with some practice using my thumb and index finger - or holding the unit with my right hand and sliding out with my left... very easily adjustable either way .... Hope this helps ... Mark
Question:	Tactical switch? Does the tailswitch turn on the light with a 1/2 press? Other words ca the light be turned on without completely clicking it on
Answer:	These are the battery choices: 1 each 26650 rechargeable 3.7 volt lithium ion cell or 1 each (smaller diameter) 18650 3.7 volt rechargeable lithium ion cell housed in the supplied plastic centering sleeve or 3 each AA cell ( a variety of chemistries, disposable or recharcheable ) housed in the supplied AA cell carrier. The first option ( 26650 cell ) provides the longest operating time and lowest operating expense ( my favored solution ). The third option, using 3 fresh disposable alkaline AA cells, provides slightly brighter initial performance due to the higher voltage of the battery pack but is the most expensive operating option.
Question:	Can it use a 14500 3.7v battery
Answer:	There is no reference as to the lumens, voltage, amps nor the type of bulb used (which can also indicate lumen level) that is provided by the manufacturer. So don't assume that the answer that 800-1000 is accurate. Many flashlights in this price range are around 300 lumens but who knows for this one. For example, a CREE XM-L T6 bulb at 3.2A produces about 900 lumens with a 18650 cell (3.7 Volts).

Answer:	There is no 1/2 press momentary switch. Light must be clicked on. It comes on in low, tap for medium, tap again for high. It is a great little light. Virtually weightless. I carry it in a shirt pocket and I don't even know it's there until I need it.

Question:	can two CR123a batterys be used instead
Answer:	The Streamlight 88033 emits an extreme white light...this is a medium beam. Probably due to the resonant extreme brightness. I would highly recommend this as a flashlight and a protection weapon because of the serrated rim on the head. I bought this as a gift for my freshman daughter living away in her dorm.
Question:	Is this light the 1 mode model or the 3 mode model ? Can this be hooked onto a keyring

Answer:	The central part of the handle is narrower than the two ends. The central part is about 5/8th inch and the two ends are about 3/4th inch in diameter.
Question:	what tipe of battery does it use
Answer:	The Streamlight web site gives numbers for "reach" for their various lights, as in how far out the light will illuminate objects. In my own use, I've put enough light on an electric transmission tower to discern its structure at a distance greater than 300 yards. More to your point, however, would be the effect the light has on wildlife. I walk my dog every night at 11:00 pm. Due to the presence of coyotes in our area, I always scan the field with the light prior to releasing the dog. I frequently see rabbits (at least by the reflection of their eyes). With my prior 55-lumen light, the rabbits wouldn't react, remaining still. With the new 150-lumen light, they bolt every time. I can only guess how your owls & other night birds might react.
