Answer:	the ones I just received were produced in 09/14 which is printed on the bag and the expiration date of 08/19 is also printed on the bag

Answer:	5, 3600 Cal packs of 9, 400 Cal bars. Each bar is rolled in a sheet of celophane type plastic. They are not water tight, so yeah, you have to eat them once you open the outer pack. I just opened on from five years ago. Couldn't pull the slippery sides apart so I had to use a blade. These are just fine and hard as a rock, but you can break them up by hand. Bare minimum emergency food.

Answer:	I ordered a single package and it had 9 bars with 400 kcal each bar to see if they were edible. the way it's packaged the 5 pack is just 5 9 bar packs. If you want to wait I plan on ordering the 5 pack myself and I will let you know for sure.
