Answer:	I can't stop laughing after reading the answers + there are 11 people with less clue who found the "explanations" useful... Guys, please allow me to explain the process: The condensation units have a secondary heat exchanger which takes the exhaust from regular 80% efficiency and "works" the water again in order to heat it even more, while cooling down the exhaust. Doing so the exhaust will be cool and it will condensate. This condensed exhaust will run down the vent and is gathered in an internal tray from where it goes to the condensation drain. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is the condensed exhaust in contact with your hot (or cold) water. By re-using your exhaust (hot), the efficiency will show on paper an additional 15% -17% added to the standard 80% of a conventional water heater.

For example, if the incoming water temp is 50 degrees in the winter, then the max winter temp will be 105. In the summer, when the incoming water is 65 degrees, the max summer temp will be 120 degrees. This is the way ALL demand heaters work. Be SURE to check the TEMPERATURE RISE specification on ANY demand heater to know what it is truly capable of. If the TEMP RISE is specified at 3GPM, and you try to set it higher, it may CUT BACK THE FLOW RATE to achieve the higher temp, but it will NEVER exceed the TEMP RISE spec.

Answer:	I would say yes as I understand it the concentric is just the air intake and exhaust you would have condensation either way. I have mine draining into a reservoir with a pump that pumps it to the drain. If you install withount it will just blow water on the ground and there's your answer.

After having in for awhile, this one can output enough for 2 showers at full capacity, but one seems to be just a little restricted. If we installed some different shower heads I'm sure there wouldn't be any issues. For the minimal increase in cost, I believe the additional capacity is worth it. You may not always need it, but it's nice to know it's there if you do.

Answer:	After having an electrician inspect the installation and unit, I was told the Eco 36 really should only be installed on a 300 amp service or above. It is a great unit, but for most homes trying to run it on a 200 amp service, it is too much of a draw on the electrical. It will cause flickering lights and will become a problem when your timing a full house with showers, laundry, dishwashing, etc. I love the unit, but my service is 200 amp, so I'll be removing this and installing a Rheem Electric Hybrid tank water heater.

Question:	Does this work when temperatures drop to below freezing
Answer:	When it freezes below about 20 you have to drain it to protect the coils. That said, you may start the water and fire it up when it is below freezing, just remember to drain it once it cools off.... Our unit works on a single handle application, it just has to be set at a lower temp.
Question:	Can this unit be exposed to weather
Answer:	yes....just dont let it freeze...great unit....i use it off grid so battery ignition is great.....20 min hot water at a time just let it rest for 5 and its ready to go again
Question:	How long does a 20 gallon propane tank last with this unit
Answer:	it's hard to say... depending on usage but I have also used the smaller unit L5.... I found it was just about as fast.... maybe not as hot in colder season but much more efficient on propane. I used the L5 more than than my new L10 and had a month of use.... doing dishes washing up and showers for one person (month of October in the Canadian Maritimes) out of a 5 lb tank.... I was thrilled... I changed to L10 because I foolishly let the L5 freeze and cracked some parts (which I intend to fix) but L5 were back ordered and I needed a unit quickly... love the L10 but it's using more propane... hope it helps
Question:	Is it possible to mount this product on outside of travel trailer? If so, what precautionary steps should be taken
Answer:	I wouldn't: you can, however, mount it to a fixture that can be secured to a stand. (meaning, it's easy to steal) I don't believe that it was designed to be mounted to a travel trailer, though you can always contact the manufacturer, and ask them.

Answer:	Most rinnai tankless weather it is out door or indoor, have a control board to adjust temp and either on or off

Answer:	It can definately be out doors in freezing temps, tho power failure arent good for it while in a freeze, tho keep in mind it will use alot more energy for frost protection, indoor units are safer amd more efficient in this case
Question:	Does this unit come with controller? rinnai tech said i needed a mc-91-2us controller? do i need to buy separate
Answer:	I bought model V65EN. It came with a wired digital controller. The installer did not run the wire into the house and mount the controller indoors. He simply set the controller at 120 degrees and left the controller inside the unit. If I want to change the temp, I have to take the cover of the unit.

Answer:	What is the application? You might want to use a 100lb tank for a house unit. If you are just using it with a power washer or for washing animals use the 5 liter portAble which hooks up to a 20 lb tank but the flow is about 1.25 gallon per min . No regulator included

Question:	can I hook it to a chimney
Answer:	Hello. According to North American building codes, it is not allowed to vent most including this tankless water heater into an existing masonry chimney. The condensing gases would quickly begin to cause damage to the masonry and result in structural damage to the property as well as a very unsafe condition with carbon monoxide. Question:	How does this get power? Is there a 3 prong plug
Answer:	Yes it is a 3 prong plug. Lasts about 5 or 6 years at least for our business. We use automatic faucets so the relay is constantly clicking on and off. But it does the job.
Question:	Can you mount this flat or does it have to be horizontil
Answer:	Hello Tracy. The Chronomite SR-15L/120 can be mounted with the bottom parallel to the floor or to a wall, as long as the heater's inlet and outlet connections are on the right side. While I'm here, please note that this unit is very weak by design, for installations that can't provide very much power. It heats water by 24°F at a flow rate of 0.5 GPM. So if your incoming water temp is 70°F, then your output will be 94°F, which only feels warm...not hot at all. This heater has only one type of use: for hand washing in a sink, and even then, only in warm climates. It will NOT work for a shower. And, if you don't use the included, required aerator, then the water flow rate out of the faucet will seem much slower. Not sure now? Question:	Does this make a click noise (like an internal switch or relay) every time you turn on the water? Another brand does that and it might annoy me
Answer:	Yes!1 It does make that noise. But unite doesn't make hot water, just slow warm water. Not happy at all, I took it off and stuck with it.
