Question:	Will this continue to heat after the water boils or will it shut off? I want to be able to boil water for several minutes to purify it
Answer:	It will not shut off and if it is removed from a liquid and remains plugged in, it will burn out very quickly, you will smell a burning metal and plastic smell within a few minutes as it self destructs.

Answer:	I would not advise that!!! The heater warmer needs a 120 V outlet. Your car battery is 12 V. This is a big difference in power. In addition, you defeat the safety feature of the product.

Answer:	If sold in California - yes, EVERYTHING that you ingest that isn't non-GMO has a cancer warning. But, relax, you're just heating water with it - you'll burn your house down long before you will die of cancer from this thing.
Question:	How long does it take to boil a standard cup of water
Answer:	For getting the water hot enough for tea or hot chocolate it took me less than 2 minutes. I didn't wait long enough to see if it comes to a rolling boil but 2 minutes is perfect and still hot enough that you have to wait little bit before you can drink it.

Question:	How long would it take for two of these to heat up at 12ft Intex pool by about 5-10 degrees
Answer:	Assuming the surrounding air wouldn't cool the pool down (which is does), that your pool is full (assuming 2000 gallons) and the heater can run continuously. It would then take close to 3.5hours to heat 1 degree Fahrenheit.

Answer:	I get more requests for information on this stupid piece of %$#! than any item I have ever bought on Amazon. Yes it boils water, for like 3 times until it breaks and then stops heating. It works until it doesn't which is not very soon after you buy it. I rub two sticks together to make heat before I would spend money on this again.

Answer:	It is ok for the unit to get wet but weather may reduce its lifespan. Rain will not harm the plug since distilled water does not conduct electricity, however you may have issues if there is salt on the ground and the plug is located there.

Answer:	I don't think this would work very well outside in freezing conditions. It may keep your liquid from freezing but doubt it could bring it up to max temperature

Answer:	Do NOT use this to warm honey! The heater is a spot heater, it does not encompass the entire wrapping. It will burn the honey next to the heater before the rest is heated. The element get hot fast and is either on or off. It will not turn off until the thermostat on the opposite side of the heater reaches the set temperature.

Answer:	Absolutely NOT! You would be betting your life (or your pet's) on the integrity of the electrical insulation. If the heater shorts out to its housing (ground fault), and thus the water, you would be unable to escape and you would be killed by electrocution. (Also if you drop an extension cord connection into the water). Most of these heaters warn repeatedly against even touching the water while heater is plugged in! In fact, I saw a video of a defective immersion heater where the water came to full voltage!... it was caused by unfused insulation inside the internal metal tube, allowing the bare wire inside to touch the tube wall. But anything could go wrong, so keep away from the heater and water while in use! Unplug first!

Question:	how do you turn off thermometer
Answer:	Please note there is no turn off button, if you use it regularly, you don't need to take out the battery. If you don't use it for a long time, it is recommended to take out the battery to save power, thank you!
Question:	I see you must either 15 outlet is that a regular house outlet
Answer:	You must have a 15 amp outlet. Most modern homes have 15 amp circuits. However, you may not be able to use any other device on the same circuit while using the heater without tripping the breaker.
Question:	Once the kids pool is heated do i have to take it out or can they go i with it inside? of course i will be supervising them that they don’t touch it
Answer:	Don't go inside! You must unplug first, and remove the heater before ANYONE goes in the pool. I was shocked, and it's not pleasant. Very scary.
Question:	I have an intex rectangular pool 52 inches high. Can it safely heat the pool water being it needs extended time
Answer:	I highly doubt it. It may help but you would use a lot of electricity for minimal heat. I would recommend something larger.
