Answer:	The flushing power of a toilet comes from the water in the tank (and specifically the height of the water), and the blue plastic device has nothing to do with the tank fill. The blue plastic is a flow restrictor for the water going into the bowl. Depending on your water pressure, you may get different fill rates in the tank and the bowl. Excess water in the bowl simply goes down the drain, so you can slow down the bowl refill so that bowl and tank refill at the same time, saving water.

Answer:	I'm not a plumber, but I've changed out a lot of toilet tank equipment over the years. I'm fairly certain that all water line connections are a standard size. I've never seen one that wasn't. Unless you have a really unusual connection, any fill valve will work. Hope that helps.

Answer:	If you simply pinched the sides of the old float and pulled it straight up, then you probably didn't snap anything, and it should work perfectly when you put it back on the new cap. Sometimes, people don't Center the thing properly and therefore it doesn't move freely. If that happens, just remove it and replace it so that it moves freely. But here's a clue: Korky doesn't sell the float separately, because you never ever need to replace it unless you somehow mash it into place and break it.

Answer:	This is a replacement for the working parts in a Korky 528 or 530 series QuietFILL toilet fill valve. We have replaced the fill valves in both of our toilets with the Korky units and would never consider anything else. The only guess I can make is that if there is a bar going across the top, it won't fit an older one-piece Kohler toilet so this differenciates it right away. I have the older model so I need this flapper without the black bar. The bar fits between the two extended arms you see in the picture. I made the mistake of ordering the one with the bar, model #GP84995, and it just didn't work. This model, GP83064 is the only one I found that sits on the opening properly and doesn't leak. I think my toilet is from 1989, when my home was built.

Answer:	The bolts are normal, round plastic. The little lever holds the bolt in place from below while you tighten the cap from above with a screw driver. No need to hold it in place while you tighten. Set the toilet seat over the locking cap, twist the lock, and you're finished. Very easy and it will fit your toilet. Easiest seat install I've done.

Answer:	Yes. Tube had hardened after 8 years of use. When replaced tubing, I found the 1059289 Canister Flush Valve Stop Kit (the plastic piece to which the tubing attaches) had cracked, no longer able to twist lock. I will either replace it (original black plastic piece is discontinued - 'appears' to be replaced by flush-valve-repair-kit-1229656 with larger yellow plastic piece) or drill a hole and insert a pin to hold it in place. The teflon tape idea or some 'reversibly' applied rubber cement, might be needed to hold tubing in the valve stop item.

Answer:	Hi, I bought this for my jacuzzi bath, not for a garbage disposal. I new where the switch was, I also new that I would have to cut a hole in a closet wall to get at it. If u are buying it for a garbage disposal, I would think that it would be a much easier installation, right under the sink.

Answer:	At the widest part, front to back 12 inches and side to side 8.5 inches.
Question:	Does this part include the Locknut or is that a seperate order
Answer:	Not sure about the fit with that model but I would not recommend this item in general. I have two and the latches do not work well. Both move around where they connect to the toilet so you sometimes get a sudden shift to one side. Also, the surface get scratched very easily. I do not remember putting anything that would scratch on the seats but they have plenty of scuff marks. The seats are maybe 6 months old.

Answer:	If you prefer to measure, just to be sure, then measure from the front of the bowl to the middle of the screws at the back of the bowl/lid area. Answer:	I donot remember exactly since i bought it couple of years back but it was definitely plug and play kind for me so hopefully it must have accompanied with nut and spacer both.

Answer:	Almost everyone in the Q&A answers yes to this question. However, for me, it was not in the box. I used the nut I already had on the old toilet handle and it worked fine. If the nut I had was worn out, the new handle would have been useless until I bought a nut.
