This biggest difference with the Evolution is it is noticeably wider (8 3/4") than the Badger models (6 5/16"), so the drain is going to be in a different spot and you *might* have to do some plumbing work if you can't adjust the drain. (I was able to adjust my drain pipe so it fit OK with the Evolution.) |

Very easy to install. make sure disposer is off and if possible unplug to be safe. reach in and grab the installed one. pull up and it should pop out as easy as pie. there is a small lip around the top that helps locate the rubber in the right place. give the hole a quick clean to get rid of the gunk that has collected. slip the new one into the hole an press down on the edges till the new one locates fully all the way around on the lip. you can use the "plug" to push down all around the item once you get it in. you might not even realize its all the way down as ours essentially slipped right in as it is such soft rubber. you are done, its very easy. I was amazed at how much just replacing this reduced the noise level again. our old one was only 2yrs old and maybe opened up to about a 1" hole at the top and looked ok. I also didn't realize how much gunk collected under there and we run a cleaner pretty often. I hope that's clear enough. |

After you cut off the existing rubber baffle in your garburetor with a sharp knife, simply push in this product and it should stay in. I have an old Sears Kenmore garburetor and this baffle worked fine. If the opening of your garburetor is 3 1/4'' to 3 5/16'', this baffle should work fine. |

| Answer: | Probably yes, based on my own experience. We had an Emerson a long time ago (15 years) which went bad and I replaced with the 1/2 HP Badger. Did not have to change the flange. It was a real "in place drop-in". Last week, the Badger died (lasted about the 15 years I mention), and I bought this one as replacement. I did not replace the flange again. It was another "drop-in" although I had to install a wall outlet under the sink to plug it in. No problem with one of those blue boxes. |

This means that: 1) The septic system is adequately sized for the house. 2) The septic system has always been maintained in the past. 3) The system is maintained and pumped on a regular basis, the frequency depending upon usage. And 4) grease or coffee grounds and such are never put in the system. I have used a garbage disposal in conjunction with my properly built and regularly maintained septic system for more than 30 years without any problem. |

| Answer: | There is no fragrance added so it just smells like the combination of ingredients from which it is made. So it has it's own unique smell that I really don't know how to describe it. I asked my 10 year old daughter to describe it, to get a child's opinion and she said "smells like nothin". I really like the smell myself, but the smell dissipates very fast after you put it on your beard. At least it does to me.Some days I like to add a drop or two of an essential oil to the balm in the palm of my hand before I apply it. I like to use spearmint or peppermintbut you could add any scent you like. That is one of the reasons why we didn't add a scent, so that you could make it smell like whatever you like.I prefer a comb on my beard especially for applying beard balm. I think a comb does a better job of covering each hair individually. I find the best time to apply it is right out of the shower when your beard is clean and damp. |
