Answer:	You can, however you will immediately go in to the trap after a sharp 90 going down, if the disposer is trapped separately from the rest of the sink (i.e. another basin.) The other usual configuration is a horizontal line from the disposer entering into a vertical line dropping down from the basket assay below the other basin. If you have this configuration, there is a baffle/deflector at a 45 degree to force the water down the vertical pipe, so the force of the disposer dumping the water does not come up into the 2nd basin. Your auger will definitely get stuck here. Better to plunger each side while blocking off basket assay of other side. This usually works... 35 yrs+ plumber

Answer:	It's 50 ft and you are probably 33 to 40 feet high up. So, probably yes. Or get a 100 ft pressure washer drain clearing hose with the tip they use for that.

Answer:	It's got a manual crank, but honestly you won't be able to crank it enough by hand to do much. It's just has too much diameter and length for hand-cranking. I think if you need a 1/2 by 50-footer you also need a machine to feed and rotate; wish I'd had a better idea about that before I bought mine.

Answer:	I bought this as a gift. The person I bought it for says it does have a an automatic cable feed and reverse.

Answer:	You bettcha. The handle on the front does all the feeding action. Push it forward and the line/shaft extends. Move it to the center and no movement. Pull it to the rear and the line retracts. You don't have to touch the shaft at all, but wear gloves just incase.

Answer:	Not sure what you are asking. Sewer lines have been installed with many types of materials. I have a 4" PVC sewer lie and have used this many times with no apparent dame. However, who knows what goes on inside the line. I can only state that I think you would be safe from damage to the line. Remember this, friction from this rod is negagated due to the roller. Answer:	My husband could answer this question more accurately...but here goes...you have a clean-out for your sewer...ours is located just outside our house near our kitchen. Bill takes the cap off of the sewer pipe and threads this "sewer snake" we call it down until he feels it hit the clog...then he works it back and forth and flushes water down the pipe with a hose. We could not find one locally...this one is 3/4" and all we could find was 1/2" where we live. Hope this helps!
Question:	Would this work well for a basement floor drain
Answer:	I don't think so. This is designed to be used on sewer pipes - ie strong metal pipes with very few bends in them. You cannot twist it and certainly can't attach it to a drill. It's designed to punch through a clog with a back and forth motion. I think it could easily damage a plastic pipe like a gutter or plastic corrugated pipe.
Question:	can you use this for the bathroom sink
Answer:	First become familiar with your type of pipe and the direction it goes, and the turns it makes. At least find out as much as you possibly can about it. If you have old thin walled brittle plastic pipe, or the old Orangeburg pipe be careful ramming the sewer rod in, because you can knock a hole through it. If you need more info on Orangeburg pipe look it up on a search engine or ask a plumber about it. They will probably tell you about it for free, and give you a description of it, they may even have an old piece of it to show you. It is named for Orangeburg, New York where it was first made. it can be very brittle, and break easy. You should be able to make a 45 turn, but don't push your luck if its much of a sharper turn. If the 45 is 50 ft. into the pipe you might have a little trouble pushing on through it, i There is always a chance it can get stuck, or you may not be able to push it on through farther, especially if you try going through very many sharp turns. If it gets stuck, you can put visegrip pliers on your end and try turning it a little and push and pull at the same time. I have an old sewer rod, ( probably about 40-50 years old) with a solid steel ball on the end,- it works great and hardly ever gets stuck. Some of these new ones I have seen have a little different shaped ends on them. Just buy one that has a good solid heavy steel end and make sure the end piece is as smooth as possible to prevent hang ups when pushing it into a pipe, and pulling it back out. Good luck. H2OMan

Answer:	No.It will not make the back curve.It is designed to go into a clean out Y or T.I was able to get it to go thru a 90 Elbow, though.

Answer:	As far as I can remember there is none. You insert the "drill" like end in the pipes, and the other end in the auger handle pipe then fasten it with a screw in the middle of the handle. The hole isn't needed, you just need to fasten it tightly and should grip the auger nicely. I've used this thing to unclog a pipe 3 times before it rusted to beyond usage and threw it away. It was the best bang for the buck as it is 10x cheaper than hiring a plumber who will do the same thing as well.

You may want to try attacking from different angles while shooting toward the end of the tub. AnotherMethod if you have friend handy, is to ask your friend to crank the snake while you direct the end into the drain at differentAngles, while applying a bit of pressure.For a sink, try same proceedure, but sometimes it best to first try one of those flat plastic (18-20") serrated devices. Answer:	You could do that if the drill had a 3/8" chuck. However, being that this thing is 50 feet long, I would strongly suggest a corded 1/2" drill. Even then, it may not be enough. And don't run the drill until the snake is in the pipe or it will whip around. You'd probably be better off renting or buying an electric-powered snake.

Answer:	Yes, an electric or battery drill will work best. I prefer battery so there is less chance of electrocution while working in water.
