In other words the model they are selling may use lower quality parts in the construction. This lowers the cost of the item and therefore become an attractive purchase for the name brand. I have purchased Craftsman tool chests either directly from Sears or through Amazon and 100% satisfied the performance. My Mom always used to say, "if it sounds/looks too good to be true, then it is." My Dad always said, "You never seem to have enough money to buy it correctly the first time, but always seem to have enough to buy it the second time."
