Question:	Can I use this to drill holes
Answer:	Yes, you could drill holes but you need drill bits with special ends to fit the screwdriver. You can also use spade bits. The screwdriver may not drill many holes until it needs recharging.

Answer:	Today Nov 18, 2018. I got the new screwdriver. The charge unit had a red led light came on when charging / no light is complete.

Answer:	Yes! My lugnuts are torqued to 150 ft/lb and it removes them with no problem.

Answer:	I has more then enough torque to take the lug nuts of a car. and tighten them back down.

Answer:	Yes, a lot of us use the 5ah 20V since it lasts a lot longer..
Question:	Does it have more power than the newest snap on cordless 3/8 impact
Answer:	No, slightly less...by about 10 ft.lb. BUT- SnapOn uses NiCad 14.4v and total cost is 3x more. Dewalt uses a 20v Li-on battery and would last longer. I bought the bare tool & have 4 batts to interchange with my DW impact driver & DW hammer drill. The 3/8" is a good tool for bench work and some smaller auto tasks. Get a 1/2" for the big stuff. Can't go wrong with Dewalt. I'd never buy a NiCad or NiMh battery tool again, these batteries don't have a shelf life and have memory recharge issues.
Question:	Will a 20v Max 1.5 battery fit this impact
Answer:	Yes it will fit. The 1.5 may not last as long between charges. I use a 3ah battery instead but use it daily/commercially.

Question:	Shaft has two heads in one outlet. Can't turn or extend driver. Any suggestions
Answer:	Hello, thank you for reaching out. If you point your drivers shaft to the ground and give it a quick shake this should dislodge your double bit issue. It may take quite a shake but it will work. Please don't attempt to turn the driver handle to a new bit until the issue bit is dislodged. Question:	Did you make the "bit loader"? very similar, but you load 6-pack revolver-like chambers, then quickly select your bit and lock. is that one yours
Answer:	Hi, I believe you are speaking of a cartridge style driver? Autoloader multi-bit does not offer this function. Bits are changed out from the tip of our driver if you need to exchange a bit from the 6 that are preloaded. Hope that helps?

Question:	What are the Dimensions
Answer:	It is about 6-1/2" from the tip where the it goes to the back of the handle. The handle part you grip is about 3-1/2" Side barrel is about 2" x 1-1/2". This is an awesome little screw driver for many home uses. Battery life is good for several small jobs of one bigger job. I would highly recommend for as a Home owner tool.

Question:	is it good for tighten or loosening terminal blocks
Answer:	What I found that sometimes when I barely turned the drill to start the drill was not enough and when I turned it a little further for more torque... The drill would some times spin out the screw head slot. This was more my fault because I should have looked at the choke setting on the chuck to adjust it to a lower setting. I found to loosen a screw was that first...make sure that the screw tip is the correct size for screw head slot. Next with the bit in the drill chuck, put the bit in the screw slot. Then WITHOUT turning on the drill, turn the screw manually to break the tightened connection. Then with the drill chuck choke adjustment mid way or low setting would easily loosen the screw slowly when I wanted to loosen slowly. Plus this saved some time and battery on multiple connections. To tighten I had to remember to set the choke setting low and it would tighten and then the choke action would (rattle). Then I could increase the choke setting 1-2 steps to ensure the screw terminal was tight. I hope I this helps.
Question:	Different reviews seem to like the driver, but I get the impression that power is not its strong suit. does it really have enough torque to drive screws for various home projects? Thanks
Answer:	Definitely does the job on softer woods (e.g., basic 2x4s). I have been using it on all my shelving projects - mostly using #9 2-1/2" desk screws . The ability to change directions (in/out) makes it great for pre-drilling with a quick release drill bit without having to touch anything but the trigger. I am also impressed by the amount of torque this can generate, and the amazing battery life - really a great tool.

Is there an extension pole available

Answer:

The ds235-ac 2" is my first plunge into using a screw gun with a semi automatic screw bandolier feed which can run 1 1/4" through 2" screws.. When I investigated your question of an extension pole for this model, the internet showed me a video of adapting a 4000 rpm single shot screw gun utilizing what they called an extension pole. The pole converted the single shot into one that had the magazine feed , depth set for screw length, and counter sink depth. The ds235-ac 2" requires none of that because the three functions are integrated into the new unit. My guess is that the old single shots are dinosaurs but may be able to be upgraded. I am very pleased with my new toy which greatly expedites running large quantities screws ( sheetrock, decking, etc. at a rate of 20+ a minute ). In my opinion, Senco makes excellent quality tools. Good luck with your endeavor.

Answer:	No it does not. This thing last me 2-3 days a charge and charges fully in about 30-45mins
Question:	Can it drill into studs and thin layers of plastic? I install alarm keypads, motion detectors, etc. I have my real drill as a backup
Answer:	Yes, But. I have drilled into particle board for small pilot holes. The holes are for wood screws. Sizes vary #8 - 12. You can expect to drill and set 6 holes and screws. The last couple will be using your wrist. Then time for a recharge.
Question:	can you take this in your carry on bag with traveling
Answer:	I'm currently researching this as I recently had a similar product confiscated by the SLC TSA recently. From what I found, you are allowed to take a tool (screwdriver) that is less than 7 inches fully assembled. However, powertools are not allowed as carry on period. So while this is less than 7 inches (6.9 per Skil's website), it may be deemed a powertool, therefore can only be transported in the cargohold. But it has a lithium baterry, so theres that. I tweeted @AskTSA to get a definitive answer.
