Rockwell

Based on 1 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The Rockwell 4-1/2” Compact Circular Saw is an effective and hassle-free replacement for a traditional circ saw. Just grab it and go when you need to make some quick rip or plunge cuts—no need to lug out the bulky full-size saw. Even though it has the functionality to handle all sorts of projects, this saw was made for 2” lumber, cutting 2x4s in a single pass. Its lightweight design (only 5 lbs) allows for better control of the tool so you can operate it with just one hand. And it makes overhead cutting much more of a possibility than with a full-size saw. The grip is comfortable to use for extended periods. And the smaller blade allows the 5-amp motor to spin it up to 3,500 rpm, achieving the speeds of much larger saws while putting less strain on the motor for more efficient energy usage and increased life of the tool. The easy to access depth adjustment lever allows for a maximum cutting depth of 1-11/16” at 90. While the bevel lever lets you make the most common angled cuts from 0-45, with a maximum cutting depth of 1-1/8” on those cuts. Again, this saw excels at 2x4s, but is also awesome on plywood, hardwood flooring, pegboard, dowels, molding and more. Comes with one 24T TCT blade, a parallel guide, vacuum adapter, and blade key.

  • [MORE MANEUVERABILITY] All the functionality of a full-size circular saw but in a compact design that’s easier to use, and easier to make quick cuts with
  • [REAR MOTOR] For a more balanced feel. With the motor in the handle, you control much of the weight of the saw with just the palm of your hand for smoother movements
  • [EASY DEPTH SETTING] The readily accessible adjustment lever lets you change the cut on the fly, and the bevel adjustment lever enables you to make cuts from 0-45
  • [SPINDLE LOCK BUTTON] For quick and safe blade changes. Just grab the included blade key and switch out any brand’s 4-1/2” blade
  • [IMPROVED BLADE VISIBILITY] The left-handed blade housing allows you to see exactly where you’re cutting, for straighter, more accurate cuts
  • [BUILT-IN VAC PORT] Hook up a dust-vac and pull debris right out of the air while the saw is in use this feature significantly improves visibility and air quality

Less Strain, More Gain

The Rockwell 4-1/2” compact circular saw is about 50% lighter than conventional 7-1/4” saws.

More Maneuverable

Our compact circular saw weighs only 5 lbs, so it’s easy to transport and maneuver, especially overhead.

Get a Grip

The slim, inline grip design provides great comfort, balance and control.

See Clearly

The left-handed blade design provides remarkable cut-line visibility.

Good on Wood

This saw was born to cut wood, especially 2" nominal lumber materials – breezes thru 2x4s in a single pass.

Small Size, Big Performance

The 4-1/2” blade has a kerf less than half the thickness of larger 7-1/4” blades. The smaller, thinner blade means less effort and motor strain so the 5-amp, 3,500 rpm matches the performance of full-size circular saws.

Rockwell RK9034 JawStand XP Work Support Stand

Based on 1 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The JawStand XP from Rockwell is your little helper with the strong grip. You don’t need to call down a family member or ask someone else on the job site to help you hold a heavy project in place while you fasten it. The JawStand XP raises 25”-43”, and then allows for 2 extra inches of fine adjustments so you can line up screw holes or just put the project right where it needs to be. (XP stands for eXact Positioning.) It holds up to 220 lbs, and it won’t get tired or complain about how heavy the load is. It has a max clamping width of 1-3/4”. And it’s compact, easy to store, and only weighs 15 lbs, so you can throw it in the trunk and take it everywhere. There are so many uses for the JawStand: strap in a standard door; it’s the ultimate tool for working on bicycles (just flip them over and clamp in the top tube and have access to everything at the height you need); load up a 2x4 and use it to hold crown molding in place. The JawStand doesn’t use rollers like other support stands, which can misdirect the project—The low friction surface provides a smooth release when you’re ready to place the project. Whether you’re a serious DIY-er, a professional woodworker, or a handyman, the JawStand is the perfect partner for one-person jobs that require a second pair of hands.

From the Manufacturer

The Rockwell RK9034 Jaw Stand XP is a versatile, portable work stand designed to save you time and hassle. The RK9034 improves the concept of the traditional roller stand, and adds extra features to create a work support stand. The low-friction slides on the top of the stand allow work to pass over it in a straight path. The head bevels a full 90-Degrees. Built into the tilting head is a work clamp, capable of holding material up to 1-3/4-Inches wide. The Jaw stand is perfect for holding a door in place for hanging, or using a 2 by 4 brace to support crown molding while hanging it. User questions & answers

Question: Anybody use this item as a table for doing small work pieces
Answer: Yes you need two of those or something at the other end. I have a 4'x6' portable table top on it, make sure the other end is support well otherwise it will rotate and fall. If you just have one of those, use a small table top and attach a 2x4 on the bottom.
Question: Is it able to raise or lower the clamping head by the crank while it is under load and at the 200 lb capacity
Answer: I do not own this product, however I copied this information from the Rockwell website. Note the last line item. Versatile work support stand: ideal for power tool infeed/outfeed material support Built-in clamp securely holds items up to 1-3/4” wide Cam-lever makes for fast clamping action Perfect for supporting molding, cabinets and similar items for installation Supports a maximum load of 220 lbs --------> Even under load, head can be adjusted 2" using Exact Positioning handle
Question: Can caster wheels be added to the feet
Answer: The feet already have holes in them where casters can be bolted. I would use caution because it might throw off the balance when all casters are facing the same way. I would also check with the manufacturer to get their opinion . Some casters come with a threaded bolt on top where a not can be fastened.
Question: Hi
Answer: Yes, the difference is the the 98034 has the handy little hand crank that makes it easier to adjust. The 9033 doesn not have the hand crank on the vertical tube.

Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw with Steel Rip Fence, Miter Gauge, and 7 Accessories – RK7323

Rockwell

Based on 2 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is the solution to the problem of having to take materials back to the workshop to cut them, and then bring them back to the job site later on. If you’re a contractor, you know that that process can add an entire day to a project. The BladeRunner is only 15 lbs, so while stable and sturdy, it’s easy to toss in the back of the truck. And with a footprint of only 15.75” x 17”, it doesn’t take up an entire workbench like traditional table saws. The hold-down guard and splitter allow for work with wider materials, and a larger rip fence than other portable table saws provides better control and accurate cuts. A no-load speed of 3000/min, a stroke length of ¾”, with 5.5 amps of power gives it the capacity for light to moderate cutting of wood (up to 1-1/2”), ceramic tile (3/8”), PVC pipe (1-1/4”), aluminum (3/8”), and steel (1/8”). (Anything over 1-1/2” and you’re probably going to need a traditional, permanently fixed tabletop saw—but you can’t take that to the job site.) The blades change out almost instantly, in under 3 seconds once you get the hang of the tool-less blade change system. And the saw is protected by a Rockwell 3-year limited warranty, so you know they stand behind their tools.

  • [SETS UP IN SECONDS] Take this table saw to the job site or move it around the workshop. There’s even a built-in carry handle
  • [CUTS LIKE A FULL-SIZE] With the standard guard and riving knife system you can perform rip, cross, scroll, and miter cuts
  • [TOOL-LESS BLADE CHANGE] Uses any brand’s standard 4” T-shank blade, but we threw 5 in the box to get you started cutting wood, ceramic tile, plastic, aluminum, and metal
  • [0-60° MITER CUTS] With the adjustable gauge you can pull off precise miter cuts for a whole assortment of woodworking projects
  • [ON-BOARD ACCESSORY STORAGE] When the miter gauge, rip fence, and extra blades aren’t in use they can be conveniently housed in the base of the saw
  • [SAFETY SWITCH] Prevents accidental starting, plus the vacuum port lets you hook up a shop vac that cleans while you cut
