Answer:	It will power right thru, altho any saw like this will need a little pressure to one side to stay completely verticle. Make sure you use a good blade designed for this application. Bosch makes a variety of blades, and the blade makes a big difference in the cut. Make sure to use the orbital position to speed up the cut.

Question:	Does this sawzall come with a decent enough case or should I invest in a upgrade
Answer:	I recently got the 30" fence. Debated going to 36 for the t-glide, but I really don't have the space for it. I have no regrets. I'm an amature and only using the saw a few hours/wk. I was able to align the left side of fence to miter slot to within 3/1000th (woodpecker's saw gauge) and cutting a 17" length of plywood was within 2/1000th top to bottom. The right side of the fence did not align as well (about 7/1000th) and there's only one adjustment so I chose to do the left side most accurately. There's a little front-back wiggle to the fence when not locked, but it is not causing a problem with accuracy. After doing 4-5 test cuts and adjusting the tape measure lens, I visually aligned 4" for that plywood cut and it measured 4.0035" - 4.0015" (top-bottom). That's close enough for me! The tape goes down to 1/64th increments, btw, so it was pretty easy to adjust the measurement.

Answer:	The table extension on the right side is a plastic laminate, and I can't tell if you can easily cut the holes you need for the router. I wouldn't recommend it. There are four clearance holes on the left side of the top casting. You could easily design a router table mounting scheme using these holes. I would want it to be easily removable because otherwise it would interfer with sawing larger pieces.
Question:	Does this have a rafter hook attached to it
Answer:	I do wish that I had paid a little more for the 3HP model. When cutting 8/4 hardwoods, I did experience some burning and the slow feed rate had me raising the blade all the way up and pushing the stock through with quite a bit of force (not very safe). I ended up buying a good quality thin kerf blade and the SawStop 2mm riving knife and have no complaints.

Answer:	That would be hard for me to say since I previously owned a Powermatic 66 and it looks like the PM 2000 has replaced that model of which I am not familiar with. I liked my Powermatic 66 very much . It was better than the the older Delta Unisaws IMO. Having said that I liked my new Unisaw so much that I sold my Powermatic 66. I've had this newer Unisaw since 2012 but it has seen only light use since it was more of a back up saw for my MiniMax panel saw. I just sold that, so I will now be using my Unisaw exclusively. I don't think you'll find the same upgraded features on the Powermatic 2000 as those found on the Unisaw and if not then I believe the extra cost is worth it !

Answer:	I agree, there are foot switches available and plenty of space to put one on the floor...but no real toe space under the saw. I think a floor switch would get in the way of your feet when using the saw, or any cabinet saw. The large thigh-activated off switch performs a very good safety action. A contractor's saw on a base with open legs could give you a spot to put a foot switch, but why have a cabinet saw unless you want the cabinet and all of its benefits?
