Answer:	Yes, it has a depth stop. The saw cuts very nice and it glides effortlessly, u must adjust the drag on it. When cutting dadoes, it does not hang up like rail type saws when the fine dust finds its way into the rail bearings like the Dewalt I used to use. It was an expensive investment in a saw, but i really like it so much more then any of my previous sliding compound saws.

Answer:	SGT .several reasons i chose this saw over the 5312. first off I run a high end custom cabinet shop and this saw sees very heavy uses. The sliding rails on the type of the Bosh 5312 always get dust in the bearings and with time the sliding action sticks and must be taken apart, the bearings cleaned and re-lubed with dry silicone lubricant. That is what my experience was with my last 3 sliding saws, (Dewalt, Ryobe and Dewalt pro). the other thing i love about the Bosch GCM12SD its there are no rails sticking out the back of the saw, and the clearance from the wall where my saw sits is no longer needed. It was a great investment even though its on the pricy side. i love the accuracy and the performance, I change to a better cutting blade and the performance got better. I switch from the stock blade and now run a Forrest CM12806115 Chopmaster 12 inch 80 tooth blade cleaner cuts and very smother with no tear outs. i hope this helps you

The 10 In. Sliding Compound Dual Bevel Miter Saw with Laser Marker System - C10FSHCT is designed to deliver a professional finish. The C10FSHCT is lightweight (40.7 lbs.) and equipped with the new simple and compact slide structure. Question:	Is the laser battery powered
Answer:	Wondering about height limits. I will have an overhead over the bench. What is the distance from bench top to the top of the handle when the saw is in the fully up position?
Question:	Can this hang upside down in a flip-to cart and not damage the saw

Question:	How long is the power cord
Answer:	The base of the saw is 26"x16" (wide by deep) and therefore would hangover - would not recommend. Also, the base is not solid, only three inches on each end are are solid where the base rests. Finally the saw itself is approximately 32" deep. Again, I think it would be unstable to put on a 24" cart.
Question:	What is the maximum width of cut for a 1”” thick board
Answer:	Expanded cutting capacity: 12 In. horizontal capacity (nominal); 5-1/2 in. vertical capacity against the fence (base); 6 in. crown capacity against the fence (45° spring). Answer:	No it isn't, separate on/off switch for the laser and the saw.

Answer:	Mine lives in a horizontal position on a dewalt "dolly style" stand between uses and I've never had any problems. Everything is very sturdy and pretty rugged. You should be fine.
