Answer:	I don't have it in front of me, however I believe it has attachments up to 1 inch down to 1/4 inch and the larger clipper has a built in sliding guide for about a 1/4 inch down to a close stubble. The smaller one is very close to a shave. The are both very durable and Wahl is what my Barber and Brother, a stylist, use and have for over 20 years, my Barber still uses one he bought in the 80's! Answer:	This saw has a 1" Arbor, so if your blade does as well, it will fit. While this saw is made for a 14" blade, it has adequate plunge to accommodate a 12" blade even though the width of material from the backstop won't be able to be as wide.
Question:	How does this (D28715) compare to the DW872 besides price
Answer:	The DW872, I believe, is about 10 pounds heavier, and heavier duty. The D28715 strictly uses abrasive wheels, which wear out. DR872 uses carbide tipped blade, which lasts longer, cuts faster, cuts thicker material, and supposedly gives you lower cost "per cut" because you're not wearing down and replacing abrasive wheels. Abrasive wheels are also known to break apart and fly all over the place. It's scary when that happens, and you learn quickly to hold your material to be cut firmly in the grip, and to not put any kind of torque onto it at all. When you do, you dig into the wheel and it breaks apart. I have the D28715, and I used it to make about 250 linear feet of iron railing. Used it for probably 1,000, mainly on 1/4 solid bar stock, but also on the railings, plus other stock for various projects. Went through maybe half a dozen abrasive wheels, which weren't very expensive. By comparison, one carbide tipped blade should have held out for the whole project.I'm very happy with the D28715. If I was a contractor looking at daily use, or I had a mountain of material I needed to cut quickly, I might consider DW872. But for home use, I wouldn't spend the extra 200 bucks.

Answer:	Not if you want any kind of accuracy. I spent 2 days rebuilding things to make it cut square and make the vise hold well. The saw is nit worth the price, the online review I based my decision to buy on was obviously an amateur that felt just being able to cut something was amazing. I would trade for the evolution in a minute.

Question:	Does this come with blade
Answer:	Just be careful if you are trying to cut ultra-thin rebar like 3/8". Push down too hard and be prepared to loose carbide teeth. Just go real slow, and make sure they are clamped tight. If they were to roll and slip during the cut, you'll lose teeth. And of course use a stick wax cutting lubricant to save on wear n tear.

Answer:	This is a slow rpm saw, 1500 RPM designed for carbide tipped metal cutting blades.

Answer:	It’s a totally different saw, I have about 50 cuts on this blade it still cuts like new. Cuts faster almost zero sparks and at least ten times faster than a carbide blade saw.
Question:	I'm interested in getting the 9" metal saw......but I don't see anyone selling 9" blades for this saw? Where do I buy extra 9" metal cutting blades
Answer:	The distance between the fence and the edge of the blade when down is about 7" length of cut with the included 14" blade. It should be able to do the 1/4"X6 but it will dull the blade fast if you have to do a lot of them.
