Answer:	This sander is designed for flat surfaces. Not really good for patio furniture.

Check this out at Amazon: Bosch RS014 5" Buffing Pad I believe the sanders that this is listed as fitting are the same diameter hook-and-loop bases as the ROS20VSK just with a different mounting hole pattern of the base to the sander so it should fit, but the reviews of its performance are not great.Maybe there are other buffing pads that would work better.

Answer:	DAGS on "bosch ros20vsk 220 parts". Lots of responses. The first is ereplacementparts.com which carries it. There are also several others.
Question:	What size air compressor is required to run this sander effeciently
Answer:	I would say that a small amout of "cupping" is normal. As to 1/16 of an inch, I think that is a little much. Most of the sanding takes place on the outer edge of the disc. As it rotates the dust is sucked into the 8 holes in the center of the disc. In order to flatten out the disc, you would have to put more pressure than normal. My experience with this brand of random orbit sander is that the more pressure you put on the sander, the slower the disc turns. You need to have at least a moderate rate of rotation to keep putting new cutting surfaces forward and to get a decent "scrambling" of sanding marks.If your sander is older, you may want to purchase a new disc. They are relatively inexpensive. If the sander is newer you may want to see if the dealer or manufacturer will replace the disc.

Answer:	The motor is about as loud as a small vacuum cleaner. A person in the next room would hear a low hum. When you touch the sander to the surface of whatever you're working on it makes "sanding sounds" as you would expect (which are a bit louder). Question:	How loud is it
Answer:	Not as loud as belt sander. If I was doing a lot of sanding, I would wear hearing protection. It's about 60 to 70 dbs when sanding. The belt sander is about 70 to 80 when sanding. Prolonged use : ear plugs
Question:	Did i get a lemon ? The largest sanding sleeve slides when the machine starts, and so no pressure can be applied to it. What to do
Answer:	Could be the sleeve. I tighten mine down and it works fine. I'm very happy with the one I have. I would contact the manufacturer.
Question:	what's the actually sanding height possible with this sander
Answer:	If the sanding drum in installed flush with the rubber core, the "as-designed" safe sanding height ( distance from the table top to the bottom of the drum downstroke) is 3 3/4 inches. The stroke is 1/2 inch, so it will sand a total of 4 1/4 inches if utilizing the upstroke.
Question:	Anyone find a place to put the extra washers? It's driving me nuts having, seemingly, no where to put them
Answer:	All those neat little places that are designed to hold the accessories are designed by people that don't use the equipment. All the washers, sanding sleeves, mandrills for my machine are in a box not far from the sander. Anything stored as per design would end up covered in sawdust and would have to be removed every time a vacuum or air gun is used for clean up. Cigar box (or similar) is just fine.

Question:	where can I find the parts? I need the correct sheets and a pad replacement. I don't find any generic sheets that satisfy the hole pattern
Answer:	You can buy them here at Amazon.com. I've found them at Ace Hardware, Home Depot did not have them available in California.You aren't likely to find generic pads for this small sander.
Question:	does this plug in.. i see a cord and then n some photos I dont
Answer:	this does plug in. however we had this about a week and a half and the sander fell apart. find one at home depot or lowes at least there is no problems with returning it
Question:	Would you recommend this product for sanding stairs and a banister
Answer:	No. This is for fine detail work, not really for large surfaces. For that you'd want a larger orbital sander. I use this Mouse when I sand down guitar finishes, it helps me get in those tight places and around corners with precision.

Answer:	don t force it and it works fine /it how much are going to sand down 50 coarse for heavy ,then move up to 180gits and up /also be care full it turns into a pit bull 50g...light weight on it just enough and it will do it/it work fine on poly urit.....table /cover yourself or protect from dust /mask ,jut fine
