I use the little 2 Amp Hour XR batteries and I get a solid 30 to 35 minutes max of non stop sanding before I need to swap batteries. If you have still have your issue with a fully charged battery, return the unit.

We wear out at least two of these sanders a year in our shop and we use them to sand wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel daily, and sometimes other types of material as well. If you sand a car this sander would not be suitable for wet finish sanding as it is not sealed for that purpose.

Answer:	don't think so it has a rubber mat backing don't think the glue will stick very well, I used whole sheet 8 1/2 X 11 and cut it in half and trim the edges give you more choices on the paper

Answer:	I buy full sheets of sandpaper then cut them up myself. Get 4 per sheet. I use Festool Granat 9 x 11 paper.

Answer:	The answer is that no you do not have to have holes in the paper to use it, but if you do not have the holes you will not be able to utilize the vacuum capability of removing the dust created by the sander. Answer:	A belt sander is great for any sanding job you need that requires a lot of material to be removed quickly, such as stripping paint or finishes on flat surfaces, smoothing out wood filter patches, sanding hard wood floors or removing hardened glue. If you need to finish wood surfaces or prepare surfaces, it is best to use a disc sander.

Answer:	This one is not random orbit, like the D26451. It also has a more powerful motor, but I find the D26456 to be the best sander. Definitely buy one with a variable speed, like D26453K over the D26451. I returned this model quickly and rely on D26456 for woodworking and home improvement where I need a nice finish. This model definitely didn't come close to meeting my needs.

Answer:	Yes it can. I used the pad purchased here on Amazon. The part is "Astro Pneumatic Tool 4606 6-Inch PU Velcro Backing Pad". Works great.
Question:	This claims to be able to work with hook and loop pads, but if I look at it at the big box stores, it looks like its adhesive backed pads only
Answer:	It's because this sander probably needs 6 CFM of air to run it at 90 PSI. That compressor drops to much and can't make it up in time. Your compressor only puts out about 4 CFM at 90 PSI. I have a 33 gallon and it only puts out 4.9 CFM at 90 PSI so it doesn't run this tool properly. So I'm going to have to buy a more expensive sander (CRAP) that only takes about 4 - 4.5 CFM at 90 PSI. Then it will run properly.

Answer:	The 315G is Edge Version of the tool, it's similar but geared more forwards the retail channels. Some have different handle materials and a few internal differences but mainly retail packaged and branded.
