Answer:	I do not know what part he is asking about. The parts for 351/352 are mostly interchangeable. If he can tell be the part number or something more than "a part" I might could help. I do not own a Milwaukee sander. The # 351/352 are porter cable numbers not Milwaukee. He can go to e-parts and get a blue print if he has numbers off his sander. Sorry but without I had a Milwaukee sander to measure the part I can't help. Is the part a shoe pad if so it will about have to be a Milwaukee shoe and pad?

Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2019 Verified Purchase As of 2019-04-10, the DW6182 still arrives loose in the box, along with a black vacuum fitting and no instructions. (BTW, those aren't instructions on the box and they are easily buried under shipping labels.) The instructions that come with the router also cover the plunge base but, if you no longer have them: 1) Remove the router motor from its current base and take off the height-adjustment ring. The latter is actually part of the base. 2) If the router motor won't quite fit into the plunge base collar, pry open the slot spanned by the black "Locking Lever" buckle. You may need to loosen the Locking Lever nut first. I used a small crowbar between the screw housings of the Locking Lever. A crowbar is thicker, wider and has duller edges than a screwdriver, so it's less apt to mar the screw housings. 3) Turn the motor so that its flat side (opposite the switch side) faces the thick black pillar. I had to turn mine slightly more to one side so a screw housing on the motor would clear the "Scale" pillar. 4) The motor should slide all the way down until it rests evenly on two ridges around the bottom perimeter of the collar. 5) From your other router base, detach the power cord that goes to the wall outlet. Attach it directly to the router motor while using the plunge base. 6) Adjust the Locking Lever nut if the lever doesn't clamp the motor firmly. 7) Use the centering tool that came with the router to align the base with the motor. So far, the base is working perfectly. The flat side on the bottom (instead of a full circle) is especially helpful to me. Ironically, I'm using it to build a stand for my new CNC router, which could have finished this job in about 10 minutes.

I use Chemical Guys pads with Meguiar's Ultra-Cut Compound 105 on the Porter Cable 7424XP Random Orbit Polisher and the micro-scratches come right out. In my experience, that's a better combination (of compound and pads) than using this type of pad.

Answer:	The polishing action is very gentle and leaves no swirls or marks on my car's paint but I would talk to a granite sales person about this just to be safe.

Answer:	It is my understanding that this is a "soft start" feature, presumably in the "electronics" of it, that reduces the torque on the motor as it starts. I believe this means that it does not jerk when the motor is turned on and though hardly noticeable, the start-up speed is more gradual than a motor without it.

Question:	For woodworking, can you explain when I might want a sander like this instead of a random orbit sander
Answer:	This sander works in concentric circles, unlike a random orbit sander, so it is less aggressive, it works well for sanding the edges of boards, and for sanding roundovers. It is not a commercial quality sander, like the 330, but it is good for part time wood workers. I wore one of these out in about 2 years of daily use, where my 330 has been going for 20 years. This sander is a lot easier on the hands than the 330 and the dust collection is a nice feature, though perforating the paper does reduce its life span.

Answer:	Hello, I dont have this particular brand, but Im thinking in buying one, I bought the adhesive sandpaper and had that problem of being diffucult to get it out, but I had this idea to put some BABY POWDER before putting it to the sander , it works great.

Answer:	Probably. It is a classic quarter sheet sander so inside corners would either need a specialized sander or the old sanding block and elbow grease. Note: it is NOT a classic circular motion orbital sander, its motion is more elliptical than circular. That being said, it still works fine. I've used it on a kitchen table and it did a great job. Note: non orbit sanders MUST be used across the grain while orbital (or elliptical) sanders work fine either way. I would suggest getting "non clogging" sandpaper since this has a vacuum bag and non clog works best with this sort of thing. Finally, remember to use a tack rag or a faintly moistened towel to remove ALL the wood dust before you stain or paint or glue. Cleanliness is a must.
