Answer:	It uses drywall sand screen. Yes you must attach the sand screen. If you use sand paper, the attached vacuum will not pickup the drywall particles.

Answer:	I used this to remove popcorn ceiling to semi-smooth which still hide the imperfections in the ceiling. Recommend light pressure. Very happy with the results. If you are going to ultra smooth ceiling, you'll need to scrape it and float the imperfections.

Question:	will this attach without the pole directly to the hose as well
Answer:	Place two gaskets between where the vacuum hose connects to the sander handle and the collection bag. I had dust escaping at both connections until I added the second gasket. FYI, it will make connecting the hose a bigger hassle than it already is.

Answer:	Floor sanders are heavy so the weight of the machine provides pressure to the paper meeting the floor. This is not designed for that purpose, it will take too much effort for floors.
Question:	What’s the difference between this and the Hyde 9170 pole sander vac attachment kit? (Big price difference
Answer:	I believe they are 9 inch, but you need to make sure the holes on the replacements line up with the holes on the sander or else it won’t capture the dust

Question:	What paper grid would you recommend for sending drywall
Answer:	I guess you could put a valve in the hose going into the vacuum to reduce the suction but I used a craftsman 5 gallon vaccum with a new filter and I didn't have any issues with too much suction.
Question:	How do will you clean the bag or does it come with a paper bag inside
Answer:	Yes but you will need resurface the wall or ceiling after you sand it.

Answer:	They don't lock together but our painter/drywall guy just put a piece of tape at the joints and it has worked fine since. He really liked having it to use and said it did a good job.
