Answer:	No, please do not do that. A 6" tool is balance for 6" pad which normally weights at 130 gram. If you put on a pad with different weight you will throw the balance off that will cause terrible vibration.

Question:	Does this sander come with connection capability for a dust collector system hose
Answer:	Yes, and no.... Check this out at Amazon: Bosch RS014 5" Buffing Pad I believe the sanders that this is listed as fitting are the same diameter hook-and-loop bases as the ROS20VSK just with a different mounting hole pattern of the base to the sander so it should fit, but the reviews of its performance are not great.Maybe there are other buffing pads that would work better.

Answer:	DAGS on "bosch ros20vsk 220 parts". Lots of responses. The first is ereplacementparts.com which carries it. There are also several others.
Question:	What size air compressor is required to run this sander effeciently
Answer:	I would say that a small amout of "cupping" is normal. As to 1/16 of an inch, I think that is a little much. Most of the sanding takes place on the outer edge of the disc. As it rotates the dust is sucked into the 8 holes in the center of the disc. In order to flatten out the disc, you would have to put more pressure than normal. My experience with this brand of random orbit sander is that the more pressure you put on the sander, the slower the disc turns. You need to have at least a moderate rate of rotation to keep putting new cutting surfaces forward and to get a decent "scrambling" of sanding marks.If your sander is older, you may want to purchase a new disc. They are relatively inexpensive. If the sander is newer you may want to see if the dealer or manufacturer will replace the disc.
Question:	Can the disk pad be replaced with the a velcro pad and where can I get it

Answer:	I don't know why not. We wear out at least two of these sanders a year in our shop and we use them to sand wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel daily, and sometimes other types of material as well. If you sand a car this sander would not be suitable for wet finish sanding as it is not sealed for that purpose.

Answer:	It's made for non adhesive paper. You can use adhesive but it tears up the neoprene pad when you remove it. If you do use adhesive paper remove it at the end of the day.

Answer:	I just ordered a pack of Mestool 120 grit for the sander. You just want to make sure the hole pattern of the discs line up with those in the sander’s pad.

Question:	Can i use this to sand drywall
Answer:	I think Amazon made a mistake. The pads I received a couple of years back, were about four inches in diameter and don't look like the ones shown in the latest photo. I'm not sure how they are attached, but as I recall, I used an attachment for my power drill that looked like a black rubber mat with an axel for insertion into the chuck of my power drill. The pads I received have a white cloth-like backing (about the texture of a flannel shirt). I think they are meant to be used with some kind of Velcro-like attachment arrangement. The trick is to keep them centered or they will wobble out of balance.

Kindly reminder:

Before you use the air sander, please add 2-3 drops of oil from air quick connector and please allow the tool to run for a few seconds after filling to make sure it works well. (oiler not included in our box)

This tool is intended to be operated as a handheld tool and is air-powered. It requires an air compressor that will provide a clean lubricated air, where the air hose is connected to the tool when the tool is running.

Find the small hole on the top of the angle orbital sander. If you don't find the hole near the outside, use the PIN to hold the rotating block inside. Rotate it a little to find it, then insert it into the hole with the PIN.

Hold the PIN, do not let the PIN slide, rotate the sanding pad in the direction of the arrow until the disk is removed from the angle track mill

• Working pressure to be 6.3 kg/cm3 (90PSI) at operation.
• Please refer to Figure 1 for the tool installation. To install a filter and a lubricator/oiler at an air outlet
• The best hand stress on the tool is from 5Kg to 7Kg when operation.
• Release the air supply when replacing the sandpaper or the backing pad.
• Wear protection glasses, eye protector, dust mask and gloves at operation.
• Have a short break in every 30minutes to avoid any possible injury due to tiredness.
• Do not have free rotating at high speed to avoid possible injury to the human body and possible tool damage.
• Do not touch the rotating part of the tool with your hand or your body at operation.
• Start your sanding job after you fit the sanding pad flat on the surface you are working on. Please refer to Figure 2.

Routine maintenance for angle orbital air sander

• Stop your Job when finding any irregular sound or vibration at operation and then check and repair the tool.
• Because you are using clean compressed air at operation. Use an air filter at the air installation to clean the dust out of the compressed air.
• Drop some Oil to the inlet of the tool and then run the tool slowly for a minute and finally start your work...Auto Lubricator/oiler is recommended.
• Any dirt dust inside the motor may result in slow rotation even block running, at this time, try to drop some oil from the inlet, see whether solve the problem or return to the seller for maintenance.
• Do release the water out of the air compressor and air hose after an operation.
• Maintain tools with care. Keep tools clean for better and safe performance, follow instructions for lubricating. Inspect tools cords and air hoses periodically, if damaged, have them repaired by an authorized technician.

Answer:	Yes it can. I used the pad purchased here on Amazon. The part is "Astro Pneumatic Tool 4606 6-Inch PU Velcro Backing Pad". Works great.
Question:	This claims to be able to work with hook and loop pads, but if I look at it at the big box stores, it looks like its adhesive backed pads only
Answer:	It's because this sander probably needs 6 CFM of air to run it at 90 PSI. That compressor drops to much and can't make it up in time. Your compressor only puts out about 4 CFM at 90 PSI. I have a 33 gallon and it only puts out 4.9 CFM at 90 PSI so it doesn't run this tool properly. So I'm going to have to buy a more expensive sander (CRAP) that only takes about 4 - 4.5 CFM at 90 PSI. Then it will run properly.

Answer:	The 315G is Edge Version of the tool, it's similar but geared more forwards the retail channels. Some have different handle materials and a few internal differences but mainly retail packaged and branded. Question:	can you change the angle of the belt
Answer:	I started with decent 2HP connected to another small compressor and that wasn't enough, So I borrowed a Rollaire 5HP and that worked good. So I would say you need a good 5HP to run steady. I don't think you will find another DA sander that runs decent on less than that.

Question:	Does anyone make a hook & loop pad for this
Answer:	I'd say more than 7 CFM. Yes, I know, spec say 3 CFM, but it isn't accurate. My compressor generates 4 CFM @ 90 PSI and it isn't able to keep up with the tool. At 50 PSI my compressor provides 5.4 CFM - and it can't feed this tool @50 PSI as well. It's air consumption is much higher.
Question:	Is the 300g a short throw unit /what type paper does it use stick or hook &loop
Answer:	Yes I did use the adhesive backed paper. It doesn’t slide off that way. And the file works great
Question:	Where is the hose available for the vacuum option on this sander
Answer:	No
Question:	does this have the Velcro face to hole the sand paper
Answer:	Sorry but you'll need a 36 gallon tank with a sufficient compressor to boot to run an air sander like this. The small Porter Cable compressor is good for about 10-15 seconds the first time you pull trigger and decreases to almost nothing within a minute or two. Don't fell bad I made the same assumption and mistake

Answer:	I am not sure. I have the air compressor. 382 sander an older orbital sander battery drill circular saw and linear saw.
Question:	How long Will this last at a auto body shop
Answer:	I just use this for drywall sanding, medium pressure. I have never had the sander slow down when using it. I looked on the box and it says 1.9 amp and 13,500 revolutions per minute. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is the orbit 3/8, 3/16, or
Answer:	Yes there is it goes on where the dust collector is shown in the picture.But you may need an adapter to fit your vacuum.
