Answer: I believe what Milwaukee says is that the tools are engineered in the US but are built in China. I have not had any quality control issues or performance issues with any of the dozen cordless Milwaukee tools I own.

Answer: There are a few ways to get you a case however it might not be easy. I am not sure (I highly doubt, actually) that you can just buy the blow molded plastic case by itself. I know that Milwaukee doesn’t normally sell those cases by themselves. Don’t let that discourage you though as I might have some viable options... 1. Call Milwaukee and ask their customer service rep (might need to speak with a manager) if they happen to have one and if they’d make an exception and sell it to you. 2. Buy an empty packout case. Packout is their new storage system for all their tools. They are awesome! You can buy them at Home Depot or amazon. You will need to order a Kaizen foam insert that fits that case and then you can customize it to fit your saw, blades, batteries, etc. it is really easy and there are many vids on YouTube teaching the process. this is probably what their customer service department will say and try to sell you. It is a great design. 3. Contact local fabrication companies in your area and see if they happen to have a case they aren’t using. My old fabrication company stopped using the cases for some tools just due to the space they took up in the truck. Would take some leg work but you could get lucky. Answer: I haven't yet had an occasion to use those blades in that fashion, but I see no reason that such a cutting maneuver would not work. Just be careful not to force the blade into the material too fast - let the blade cut its way into the material. Enjoy.

Answer: I haven't noticed any problem with plywood. I did have a blade fall out once, but I decided it was my fault for not installing it properly.

Answer: You really can’t measure amps on battery powered tools without going to a lot of trouble. Any size m12 battery will run the saw. Amps only measure how much power something uses. It is not a great indicator of how powerful it is. I can crosscut 2” lumber with this saw but it is not designed for that use.

Answer: It is. There is a little lever where the blade goes in. Just push it to the side with your thumb or finger. Slide the bade in and release the lever. I always then tug on the blade to ensure that is being held in place.
