Question:	Has anyone used these on a Terrazzo shower pan
Answer:	Before buying the grit #3000, since the counter is now smooth, try one more time starting with grit #800 and then #1500. Use ~3200 RPM and add plenty of water. Polish wet, but judge dry. Take your time with each grit, polish slow. And in between grit #800 and #1500, wipe the edge of surface with gently squeezed wet cleaning towel and after the surface gets dry, vacuum the area to remove any debris. Repeat this step after the #1500 grit. If still doesn't look shiny, then yes, you should buy #3000 grit and maybe the buff as well. Granite is the hardest stone, but marble is the most pretentious one. It depends on the type of marble you have as well, but in general you have to be patient with marble. All the advices above are coming from polishing experts in the industry, people that do this for a living. Nothing we invented. I wish you good luck with your project.
Question:	Will it work for aquarium glass
Answer:	These pads are for finish polishing of stone tiles or composite countertops to remove fine scratches or smooth sharp edges. They would not be the best tool to smooth a rough surface of any size.

Answer:	Yes it can be removed or replaced. There are two valves, one on top of the sprayer that can be operated by thumb, the second one cuts off the water before it reaches the sprayer. I suggest completely draining the water out of the hose before storing. This will make the hose last longer.

Answer:	The manufacturer does not state a warranty in time but does state their normal product warranty is 3 months. They also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I have used mine over the past summer/fall and find it is of excellent quality and I am satisfied with the hose. Question:	Can I use this to smooth the edges of glass mosaic tiles that I have clipped manually
Answer:	I think it would make a nice signature . It is a shiny finish and goes on smoothly. I use it on gourds ( example the lines on a giraffe). It dries pretty quickly on that surface but I could see it smearing if two people signed right after each other. When I work on a gourd I can keep going but I am careful not to touch it right away. It gets a bit tacky before it dries hard. But it is paint not quite as fast drying as permanent ink. I am not quite sure about shiny hard surface of a plate. I would buy one ahead and try it before the big day. If you are doing the signatures ahead of the big day and can supervise it my work very well.

Answer:	It will write on hard surfaces (I labeled some glass jars with them) however it will eventually wear off. If you want the lettering to stay on, thoroughly clean the surface with rubbing alcohol (remove all oils) write your address on the surfaces with these pens, then get a roll of clear plastic packing tape, and lay a strip of this tape over the top of the writing, and trim the edges with a sharp knife. The lettering will stay on as long as the tape that way, and will absorb lots of abuse.

Answer:	I am not sure about your color, because I used the brown or tan. It was very poor quality and colors did not match up.

Answer:	I did try to use a grinder first, because that was what I already had. The Velcro wasn't really strong enough to hold the pad on the pad holder. This is dangerous, as a pad being slung off the pad holder at that speed is like a missile. On a technical note, the grooves in the pad are designed to clear out debris ( slurry, chips and especially the spent diamonds from your pad). If the pad is rotating too fast, this will not happen, and the pad will clog up and therefore over heat. Used correctly, these pads will do more than one job, if taken care of. Just wanted to add that I purchased a 7" polisher from Harbor Freight for 39.95. The polisher had a max rpm of 3600 and a variable speed trigger which performs great. It comes with a 7" pad holder, that can easily be changed out with the 4" that will come with your set. You can also pick up a portable ground fault breaker for about 15.00 and not be worried about using the tool around a little water, to achieve a better shine. I used this system to polish concrete counter tops to a mirror like finish, with the 6000 grit pads. Just be patient, and don't skip pads. start with the 50 grit and progress.
