Question:	Has anyone used these on a Terrazzo shower pan
Answer:	Before buying the grit #3000, since the counter is now smooth, try one more time starting with grit #800 and then #1500. Use ~3200 RPM and add plenty of water. Polish wet, but judge dry. Take your time with each grit, polish slow. And in between grit #800 and #1500, wipe the edge of surface with gently squeezed wet cleaning towel and after the surface gets dry, vacuum the area to remove any debris. Repeat this step after the #1500 grit. If still doesn't look shiny, then yes, you should buy #3000 grit and maybe the buff as well. Granite is the hardest stone, but marble is the most pretentious one. It depends on the type of marble you have as well, but in general you have to be patient with marble. All the advices above are coming from polishing experts in the industry, people that do this for a living. Nothing we invented. I wish you good luck with your project.
Question:	Will it work for aquarium glass
Answer:	These pads are for finish polishing of stone tiles or composite countertops to remove fine scratches or smooth sharp edges. They would not be the best tool to smooth a rough surface of any size.

Answer:	Do not use the hose for delivery of hot water. Hot water can damage the hose.
Question:	Would this attach to an orbital sander with velcro
Answer:	Yes it can be removed or replaced. There are two valves, one on top of the sprayer that can be operated by thumb, the second one cuts off the water before it reaches the sprayer. I suggest completely draining the water out of the hose before storing. This will make the hose last longer.

Answer:	Hello , you have to make sure the 0.3-inch(8mm) Shank can fit your sander.

Answer:	If it's raw slate, or unpolished i would recommend using all of them, 50 to 3000. If it was polished or is smooth, i would use 800-3000.
Question:	Need to smooth out a mortar/concrete patch on a lamppost. will these work? does it include what i need to use them on mikita angle grinder
Answer:	Sorry, you can't.
Question:	Is the extra disk shown in center of photo, the drill attachment? if yes, where is the shaft and how does it attached to that disk
Answer:	After doing a couple rocks, you'll know. As im grinding i use my thumb on the left hand to guage angle, depth etc for where i need to move the pad too, to take off more material. I literally just polished two pieces of Petrified wood - i did the 50 grit for so long, once it got to 150, then 300 it was smooth as glass. 50-300 is for getting rid of rough edges, cuts and other heavy imperfections, everything after that is light scratches to final polish. If you can feel bumps, lines, indents - you need to use it more, once those are gone, you can move on. Id say time wise, after about 1-2 minutes of using (except for the 50-300 grit ones) once you get the bumps, and stuff out it goes really fast, but you gotta get all the corners, bends and flat surfaces really well, or it will show when it dries. (use water, or dry - but if dry use a N95 mask)

Answer:	I did try to use a grinder first, because that was what I already had. The Velcro wasn't really strong enough to hold the pad on the pad holder. This is dangerous, as a pad being slung off the pad holder at that speed is like a missile. On a technical note, the grooves in the pad are designed to clear out debris ( slurry, chips and especially the spent diamonds from your pad). If the pad is rotating too fast, this will not happen, and the pad will clog up and therefore over heat. Used correctly, these pads will do more than one job, if taken care of. Just wanted to add that I purchased a 7" polisher from Harbor Freight for 39.95. The polisher had a max rpm of 3600 and a variable speed trigger which performs great. It comes with a 7" pad holder, that can easily be changed out with the 4" that will come with your set. You can also pick up a portable ground fault breaker for about 15.00 and not be worried about using the tool around a little water, to achieve a better shine. I used this system to polish concrete counter tops to a mirror like finish, with the 6000 grit pads. Just be patient, and don't skip pads. start with the 50 grit and progress.

INSTRUCTIONS:



Install the rubber backer on to the variable speed angular hand grinder.

Attach the polishing pad Velcro loop side to the backer Velcro loop side, so they form a tight bond.

Make sure that the pad is CENTERED on the backer pad. If it is not centered it will shorten the lifespan of the polishing pads.

Question:	what is the correct order of use from 50 to 3000? How much surface area do these cover
Answer:	You start with 50 and work your way up. 50-100-200 and so on in order use the velcro backing pad with water. It works well. They will last a long but do not use them at high rpm speeds. It depends on what you are polishing and how rough it is. Thank you.

Question:	Do these leave any discoloration when used on white ceramic stoneware
Answer:	Honestly I don't remember. So it must have looked normal enough for me not to remember. It either came in a bubble wrapped lined envlope, or a small box.

Answer:	It comes in a unmarked brown package. Then inside the package, it's wrapped in bubble wrap and inside of a little brown box. If you're worried about it being decrite, don't worry! It is.

Answer:	To a point...... I mean if you put some smelly shit in it, your gonna smell it......but for the most part, I can leave it in the open or in my car and it doesnt smell.

Question:	Will these polish concrete countertops after sealer has been applied

Question:	Are these only for hose-fed wet grinders, or would they also work dry or with just a little water on my concrete tabletop
Answer:	The velcro rubber backing pad is 5/8" - 11 thread and you can use these pads ONLY with a Variable Speed Angle Grinder, NOT the standard 11.000 rpm. For Grits #50 #100 #200 we recommend ~1500-2500 rpm and for the higher Grits #400 #800 #1500 we recommend to add water and use ~3000-3500 rpm.
Question:	Are these for wet sanding only
Answer:	The set is designed to polish concrete and/or smooth out the imperfections as well. For a concrete counter with bumps, we suggest to use lower grit pads, from grit 50 to maximum grit 400. Start with grit 50 which is the lowest one and it's made to remove heavy scratches. Continue with grit 100 and grit 200 exactly in this order. At the end use the grit 400 as well to make the surface shine. We suggest to stop here for concrete stone. Using higher grits than 400 for concrete won't bring too much added value. You will just waste the pads. The recommended RPM for grits 50, 100, 200 and 400 is between 1500-2500. Add some water for a better and quicker job.
Question:	Are any of these pads sold in individual grit sizes instead of variety packs
Answer:	These are white resin pads. Let me explain why this is important. We noticed during the time many customers who think all pads are the same and that the color doesn't matter and they are exactly the customers that have problems during the polishing process. There are colored pads on the market that can reach good quality polish, but often they require more time, lots of water and sometimes they even transfer the pads color onto the stone by the end of the process. Our recommendation is to use white resin pads.

Answer:	I use it on the bottom of my stoneware pottery for a very smooth finish that doesn't scratch furniture. So it probably would work on rocks.
