Also, I went through dozens of sanding belts on a big project and I never had a problem with the belts moving or causing a problem sanding. My only complaint is that the dust bag fills pretty quickly so pay attention and empty it often. Other than that I am very satisfied with this belt sander.

Answer:	It is square, I had trouble with this sander and had to return. The metal clip that holds the sandpaper broke off. I recommend getting the DEWALT D26441 2.4 Amp 1/4 Sheet Palm Grip Sander with Cloth Dust Bag, it's a lot better and cheaper.

Answer:	circular of sorts, but don't waste your money on this thing. I had the same problem as many other others, and that was one of the hold down handles for the paper broke. It is a piece of junk. I bought a porter cable for 10 dollars more, and it is a fantastic sander. One of the best I have ever owned.

Answer:	Yes you can use different grit. I purchased multi grit package on Amazon. When you attach the sander to a 5 gallon shop vac it sucks everything through the holes. I am refinishing 41 kitchen cabinet doors and drawers and I love it.

Answer:	No not 220v its 110v however I do believe there are saws like this out there that operate with 220v. Sorry for the slow answer and for not being any help good luck.
Question:	Are these standard size bits for drills other than SKIL? I have a Bosch drill
Answer:	It can be removed but there isn’t much to be gained by removing it - maybe 1/2”. The bar would become unstable if tip is removed and would want to move. It may hurt the accuracy of the cuts. Other than that it is great for TGI’s, beams, rafters and so on - we love it!

Answer:	It depends on the size of the spot welds. Usually spot welds don't contain a lot of flash etc. so the sanding belt will work fine on them.
