Answer: This can be a problem. Adapters are hard to find and you're going to have to wait for them; or machine one. If you're only cutting wood, there are an assortment of blades available on Amazon and from other sources, but probably not available in 4-1/2" diameter at your local big box store. I needed to make a couple of short cuts in stucco and finding and adapting a diamond blade is problematic, not the diameter, but the arbor size. I found a set of arbor adapters on Amazon and a similar set for $2 from Harbor Freight. My project is on hold until one or the other shows up.

Answer: It would probably not harm any internal parts because everything is plastic, and diesel isn't that corrosive. Although the SOLO manual says "Do not fill with, use, or spray flammable materials." I would consider Diesel flamable. By spraying diesel you basically have a flame thrower because by misting the Diesel you make it very easy to ignite. So although it would not harm the sprayer you could certainly end up setting yourself on fire.
