Answer:	You don't need to cut it, you can just leave it 'deployed' or unrolled at a shorter length. Instead of the simple "pull down" spring loaded mechanism, this blind has a plastic 'chain' to the side that you use to raise it up/down. We know this because the first thing we did was pull on the bottom edge of the blind, which only caused it to rip out of the wall. (We now use molly bolts). Hope this helps.

Answer:	I ordered Senco A302000 15 gauge 2 in. and Senco A302500 15 gauge 2 1/2 in. that work fine. These were recommended by Amazon. Some nail guns are 33 1/3 degree and some are 34 degree. Not much of a difference there.

Answer:	Some batteries will, some won't. I have three from blue/black Makita-only one fit. I bought no-name and it fits and works great. Best thing to do is contact battery mfg. and ask as to your specific drill model #. Makita dropped the ball on this one! The XFD11ZB is a great drill with lots more power and battery life.

Answer:	I don't understand the question. Are you asking where the Makita drills are manufactured? If so, they are all made in China. The batteries are manufactured in many countries.

Answer:	Case is a blown or vacuum formed plastic. The hinges are formed as part of case. So they're plastic. The just have a steel pin holding the 2 halves of case together

21 Degree Plastic Collated Full-Head Framing Nails

Choose 20-22 degree plastic strip nails for roof sheathing work and other construction jobs such as framing, decking, fencing, truss building, subflooring, side wall sheathing and pallets and crate assembly.

For roof sheathing, you can use vinyl coated 2 3/8 x .113 (12 gauge) smooth shank brite steel nails to fasten your sheathing to the roof frame.

For smaller construction jobs such as fencing and box and crate assembly, you can use 2” x .113 (12 gauge) ring shank stainless steel nails. Ideal for outdoor applications due to its anti-corrosive and discoloration properties, the ring shank or annual thread of these nails offer superior holding power to prevent nails from backing out over time. It is also recommended for working with ACQ treated lumber, cedar, and redwood.

Question:	Does it still come with the rafter/belt hook? Photo shows no hook and other questions regarding this are almost 3 years old
Answer:	I've only used the BOSTITCH PT-MC14815-1M 1 1/2-Inch x .148 Paper Tape Collated Metal Connector Nails (1,000 per Box) as found on Amazon. They are black, not silver. Haven't tried any others.
Question:	what brands of nails will fit in the MCN
Answer:	This nailer is built to do a specific task. Attach metal ties. If you need to do siding I would suggest buying a siding gun.
Question:	Can you use this nailer with Hardi Plank siding driving 1.1/2” nails
Answer:	You may need to but use the mcn-250 for the toe nails on the hangers. those are 2 1/2 inches as required by code and also wherever 2 1/2 inch ones are needed. the model 250 accepts 1 1/2 inch as well so you might only but one gun I find having both far better because you can have a second installer working there are far too many nails to install in all these tecos. get it on go go go
Question:	Can this be used for deck joist hangers and hurricane straps? Is there enough nail selection to insure I find what will meet code? Thanks
Answer:	I have those nails and they are indeed "clip" headed, which means that the head is round, but is offset from the center of the nail. It will work just fine.
