Answer:	I use 90 to 100 psi to shoot 1 1/2" staples through 1/4" floor underlayment into 1 1/8" subfloor. Trial and error got me to that point. I maxed the depth setting with 80 psi and still had about 1/16" of the staples exposed. I cranked the regulator to 90 psi and 99% of the staples were flush with the surface. At 100 psi the staples are countersunk about 1/16". I know it's too late for a short answer, but it comes down to a bit of trial and error depending on your material hardness, thickness and whether you want the staples flush, countersunk or with a slight reveal. Good luck.

Answer:	That’s all I have used in it. I haven’t used any staples longer than 1/2”, but very rarely does it shoot a blank, and even a high dollar gun can do that occasionally. Oil it regularly and staple on

Answer:	The stapler itself doesn't have a depth adjustment setting. The only way adjust the depth is by adjusting the air pressure on your compressor. The tool is rated for 70-100psi. Anything higher than 100psi can damage the stapler or drive the staple too far into your project.

Answer:	Toni, Let me begin by saying that I am far from an expert on the type of project you mentioned. I used my stapler for some batten boards and used 1 1/2" staples. I will say that the machine is extremely reliable, i.e., no misfires, jam-ups, etc. I would suggest that you might want to consider folding the edge of your screening and stapling through two (2) layers of material. I suggest this only because the width (crown) of the staple is only 7/16" wide, which could make it easy for the staple to pull through the screening. Sorry for the long response. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I would say yes. I've not nailed oak with my gun but have nailed 3/4"pine, 3/4" plywood, & other thick materials just fine with it.

Answer:	No it cannot. Vinyl has to float. It is not nailed tight. Vinyl has to freely expand and contract. You use a roofing nailer with and adapter that won't allow the nail to fully drive. You also has to put that nail in slots that are in the vinyl already.

Answer:	Yes if you do a few trial staples with a small peice of wire you will be able to get it right every time.

Answer:	No way, staples for asphalt shingles must be 16-Gauge and a wide crown and have some kind of rust prevention. Staples should not be used for asphalt shingles in windy areas. Check your local building department. I have used the proper staples for an asphalt shingle roof once. Very difficult to get consistent penetration of the staple and get the staple to go in straight. I ended up using a hammer very often to get the staple right.

Answer:	Yes. We've face-nailed and blind-nailed over 230 sq/ft of 3/4" with a gun similar to this one. Just be careful when face nailing to make sure you are far enough from the edges, as being too close when shooting the nails could split the end.

Answer:	16 gauge nailers only accept 16 gauge-- nerver try using 18 with it.

Answer:	Yes it does. 2hp or more is fine and as long as it can reach up to 70-90 psi your fine. Smaller hp will work too but only thing is you will be hearing your compressor turn on to fill tank more often which if you take breaks and breathers is no problem.

Question:	Any suggestions on a pancake compressor for these guns
Answer:	Mines not a pancake compressor, but it is around the same size. I have a 2.6 gallon 2 HP compressor that works beautifully with these guns. It fills to 120 psi, and I have a regulator on the compressor that allows 80-90 psi through, depending on the gun I am using at the time. I can usually shoot 20-30 nails before it has to get more pressure built up, but never dropping below 90 psi. Since the tank is so small, it takes only seconds to fill again. I'm not sure what the rules are on linking to other items, but I bought the compressor off Amazon.
Question:	should you use a water separator or oiler with nail guns
Answer:	The only specification with the Freeman nail guns is to provide oil to the system. So I have only been oiling since water is not a problem in the air system I'm using. Some of the air supply systems I have used previously needed a water separator. If you are not sure about the amount of water in your system a water separator might be a very good addition.
Question:	Has anyone had trouble with these nail guns working right
Answer:	I have been using my framing gun 3 days out of the week as I continue to remodel my house. I have used the 15 gauge and 18 gauge guns just as much without any problems. I don't know if it's related to the setup and continuos maintenance but I have a filter on the compressor and use the air tool oil. I never exceed 120 psi on my framing gun and I adjust to 75 to 90 for the other guns. I continue to have good service from these tools.
Question:	what kind of nails does it use
Answer:	I use Hitachi fasteners. GEt mine at Lowe's. Used the Stapler and Angle Finish Nailer today. Built our 16'x16' deck with the Framing nailer. Great set of tools. Question:	I just bought this gun, right out of the box it will not work, I have tried everything? little red light is blinking jamed
Answer:	Yes, I have used 1" up to 2", as well as staples. I get some jams here and there, but for the most part this thing has been pretty good.
Question:	What size nails can be used in inches
Answer:	The gun comes with 16ga, 2 inch brads. So I would say it will work with 16ga brads but it won't work with finishing nails of any size.
Question:	Has anyone actually been successful nailing with 25mm (1 inch) brads with this gun? We have not been able to use that length. 2 inch works fine
Answer:	I love it for molding and light jobs very easy to handle
