Question: | What is the thickness |
Answer: | Hello,On EXR and Auto mode I've found my images in low light to be sub par without using the flash - which then can unfortunately cause it's own set of problems. However, as I learn the camera I find adjusting the settings and really depending on the manual as a reference guide, along with youtube tutorial videos that my low and dim light photos are improving. I'm an Amateur at this stage of course but more advanced photographers would have an effortless time taking great shots in low light conditions. If you're shopping around check out the Panasonic FZ200 and the Sony DDSC-HX300 both have won tremendous accolades for low light performance. Hope this helps! |

User questions & answers
Question: | I have a 3/4' live male threaded end but lost the spur, I need to weld a spur to a bolt so need to know the diameter of the taper below the spur |
Answer: | just as cheap to buy a new one. weld wont hold if you put any strain on it |
Question: | I would like to know the dementions of the shaft that goes into the chuck I know its tapered but need to know big and small size thanks Jack |
Answer: | If you have a Morse taper 2 (available in MT1) it has a taper of .04995 per inch. The approximate sizes of the big end and small ends are: 0.572 and 0.700. Those will vary depending on the depth of the socket (it's not a chuck), the length of the shank, and other variables. The only thing hard and fast about it is the taper. |
Question: | I'm new to turning and would like to know if the "5/8 inch crown" is refering to the outside machined dimension at the bitting teeth end |
Answer: | It is to the outside of the device, not from center to the points of the teeth. I don't recommend that you buy this, though. The center point is spring loaded and eventually the set screw on the side will come undone and fling off in a random direction. Then, when you take the piece off the lathe, the center point and spring will fly out the end. If you're lucky, you don't have huge piles of sawdust and you're able to find the pieces and put it back together. |
Question: | My pin is also stuck. It was not from being dirty because I have never used it. Has anyone came up with a way to get the pin back out |
Answer: | That's easy to fix. On the side, just below the teeth, you will find a screw. That screw allows you to do three things. First, it allows you to take the pin out if you don't want to use it. Second, it allows you to lock the pin so it does not retract. And last, probably what you are interested in, it allows you to free up the pin so it slides up and down. When the pin is out you will notice a notch on one side. Make sure the screw and notch are lined up or the pin just might shoot out at you the next time you loosen it. Do for now just loosen the screw about a quarter turn and the pin should loosen up. If it doesn't then take the pin out and see if something got into the spring which is behind it. Hope this helps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | does the handle weigh the same as the head |
Answer: | There's a door on the end. It's on the right end as you face the camera screen. But I didn't know you can charge the battery room USB. I'm going to double check that. |
Question: | Where is it made |
Answer: | That's not a question! It takes standard SDMC cards (not the micro ones). The one that came with mine is 4 GB, which is plenty big enough. |
Question: | How many ounces |
Answer: | Hello Fremen. I have 2 Fuji cameras bought from Amazon and none came with a Warranty Card inside the box. There is a flyer inside that gives you instructions on how to Register the Model and Serial number of you camera with Fuji-USA in order to Activate your Warranty. You need to keep your Original Invoice from Amazon or Sales slip from the Vendor you got your Camera from. That is all you have to do to get the Warranty going in the USA. One year from the time of sale. Enjoy your new Camera.Aaron... |
Question: | What is the dimension of the mallet? (head size, length, etc |
Answer: | I scored the deal yesterday and have it in hand today. Serial Number 33.......... This tells me that it was produced in 2013, 3rd quarter so it definitely is the new sensor. It doesn't exibit lens droop or unwind. There is a little play in the lens when extended, but not like I saw on Utube videos of the problem. Battery is charging and I'm fired up! |

Whether you are applying moldings and trim or whipping up a run of picture frames one of the biggest hassles in gluing up mitered corners is keeping them from opening up.Spring clamps are the quickest and easiest way to do it and the Collins Spring Clamp System is one of the most economical we've ever come across. The clamps spread up to approximately 2, so they will cover most trim sizes and any compound miter. The clamps can be applied and removed by hand, but the Spring Pliers make the job much easier. They will really save your hands, plus the Pliers place clamps exactly where you want them, and help keep you from scratching stock when you remove them. Includes pliers and 4 miter clamps.
- Pliers and 4 spring miter clamps included
- Miter clamps spread from 0 to approximately 2 inches. No need to carry a bunch of different sizes
- Sharp point pierces the wood without cutting wood fibers vs the competitions angled cut
- Keeps any mitered corner from opening up while glue dries for the perfect finish
- Great for picture frames, moldings, trim work and any compound miter
User questions & answers
Question: | can you just squeze them with your hand |
Answer: | Barbara you can find the DIGITAL CAMERA SERIES FINEPIX S1 MANUAL in Google. And you can print it in different Languages. |
Question: | What material are the spring clamps made of, steel, titanium, aluminum |
Answer: | I have had an Fujifilm HS-20 EXR bridge camera for a few years with a plastic thread for the tripod mount and no problem as long as one is careful not to cross thread it. So when I purchased the S1 I was not overly concerned with the plastic thread mount. That said, I don't use the tripod mount much. Just be aware its plastic and don't cross thread or use a tool to over tighten where to where the threads would be stripped. I've used a coin to tighten the camera with no problem with camera movement ro thread issues. |
Question: | Do they leave any mark or depression in the wood |
Answer: | The Finepix S1 is not, for some unknown reason, threaded for filters. The camera requires the use of an adapter to mount filters. With the adapter you can use 72mm filters. The ASIN for the adapter which is fairly expensive is: B00HVXW12E |
Question: | Are they made in America |
Answer: | This camera utilizes SD, SDHC, SDXC memory cards up to 128GB according to the Fujifilm memory card compatibility web page. |
