Answer: | They are made in China. The material is definitely harder and more durable than HSS and could be a good product providing the pilot cutting edges are ground comsistantly. Some of mine had incorrect angles whereby the leading cutting edge was lower than the back. ie. nstead of sloping downwards towards the rear they were sloping upwards. Not all of them were incorrect, some were mixed with one of the two cutters correct. As the incorrect grinding had the rear of the Angle higher than the front cutting edge, I managed to regrind/ lower the rear edge by eye, without needing to regrind both cutting edges. |
