Answer:	There is no adjustment, there are leveling feet. even if you took off the feet you would only gain 2 inches. the best thing to do is to make a platform that you stand on. I like, it has been working well for me.

Question:	What’s longest piece of wood i can turn with this lathe
Answer:	If you are using a standard four prong spur center and with the quill retracted all the way back on the tail stock, you are looking at a piece about fourteen inches. If you are using a chuck ( I have the PSI Barracuda), you are looking at around a 13-1/2" turning. Good luck!
Question:	Does it come with a Faceplate? If not what type would be best
Answer:	Yes, it does. Suggest you also get a Jacob's chuck so that you can clamp onto the tenon on the pieces you'll be working on. What it doesn't come with is a knockout rod, for removing the live center. I picked up a 3/8" dowel at the hardware store and it's working fine.
Question:	Can i make pens and pencils with it
Answer:	Just make sure you don't over tighten the quill on your tailstock, otherwise you will bend the mandrel, making it useless.
Question:	Can you turn bowls withs this lathe and does it have the chuck to do so or must you buy it separately
Answer:	You can turn up to an 8" bowl and still get the tool rest underneath it. You do need to get the chucks separately tho. I'd recommend a chucking system by Nova or PSI to get yourself started. You'll pay a little more up front, but you'll be far better off than getting a bunch of different chucks.

Probably Bc I'm not a woodworker, but I do know the end peice comes off and u could potentially make something bigger but you would need to find a way to stabilize the other end. As long as you have a 1 x 8 screw your good, if you need to, there are adapters available to transision to a #2 Morse Taper

Answer:	William, yes this lathe has an indexing head. I have not yet used the feature but it is done with a spring loaded pin which you lock into anyone of 24 positions. The spring loaded pin in screwed in once the pin is set to hold it in place.Rich F

Answer:	This lathe has a variable speed controller, so the speeds may be changed using the simple rotating knob. To provide speed ranges to suit any situation, especially for the more experienced turner, there is a three step pulley. This arrangement allows the variable speed controller to adjust speeds from 60 to 900 rpm on the low step of the pulley, 110 -1800 rpm on the 2nd step (medium), and a high speed range of 220 -3600 rpm on the the 3rd step. The belt need only be changed if you want to move to a different range of speeds. This is a very simple process.
