Answer:	I really don't remember if the clamps came with it or not. It did come with the complete set of collets and wrenches. I have 2 sets of clamps so maybe one set came with it, I know I had to buy the little milling vise, and a drill chuck. Everything for this machine is pretty expensive but first quality. I have a bigger milling machine now, and I will be selling my MF70, but only because it was too small for the bigger steam engines I am building.

Answer:	You can get free software. I grbl is free to convert STL to GCODE. Anything that can generate a STL file will work.

Answer:	There are some basic clamps that use bolts placed in the t-track of the bed.

Answer:	I have this in an apartment and I run it as part of a business. The noise level depends on what you are doing with it. When doing light engraving it's not too bad. However, when cutting/milling with a spiral up-cutting bit or doing a deeper v groove/engraving, it is quite loud and it is even louder now that I have the 20000 RPM spindle (highly recommended for proper feeds/speeds by the way). As Brian mentioned, the dust is an issue as well. To address both of these issues, I built an enclosure similar to the one by James Dean Designs; however mine is simpler and lined with pink insulation foam that I cut into sound foam with a larger V bit. This contains the dust and noise for the most part. I also had to put extra TPU feet under the machine inside the enclosure to dampen the vibrations. Even with these precautions I only run my PROVer during business hours for noise reasons. The only problem with the enclosure is that is makes it a bit difficult to reach the sockets in the back if you are going to be switching between and spindle and laser engraver. IF YOU BUILD AN ENCLOSURE BE SURE TO MOUNT THE EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON ON THE OUTSIDE.

Question:	What does "non-aluminum plate splicing," mean
Answer:	No is the same. Because have X,Y,Z but the program use other code for change the direction to interact with the program used to run a like engraving or laser.

Answer:	Sounds like a flexing problem. Can also be a large bit size (use 1/8" single flute bit), motor speed not high enough and too fast/deep of a cut. Remember this is a very light duty machine.

Answer:	You cannot compare the two. A friend of mine has the MF70, and it's more like for a dentist lab or something similar for really small parts. He would not buy it again. The FF230 is a good machine in comparison, it has enough power to even mill steel. I'm using it a lot for milling and as a high quality drill press.

Answer:	Hi!The way the Z-Axis column operates I would not recommend power tapping. There is no easy mod as far as I can see that would allow the machine to run in reverse. The stock depth control is also rather flimsy and not very accurate. I cannot speak for the fine feed attachment accessory but I would guess it could be very useful and I might purchase it down the line. I tap by hand but plan to make a tap holder to mount in the collet for more true tapping. And that would have to be one that can run up and down in its sleeve indepentent of the mill Z-axis. Anything else would be very inconvenient as I see it at this point in time.Hope that helps!

Answer:	the vise i received will open to 4.91inches with hard jaws mounted on inside positions of vise. with hard jaws removed the opening is 5.77 inches. with hard jaws mounted on outside positions opening is 10.94 inches. this vise is a versatile design. my mini mill is to small to take advantage of the full clamping range. but i am happy i chose the 4inch over the 3inch . the larger jaw area is more practical for using insert vises and collet blocks.

Answer:	Vise itself is approx 3 and 3/4 inch thick; 6 and 3/4 wide; and 13 and 3/4 long. Base is about 1 1/4 thick by 8 long by 9 1/4 wide. a bit too big for an x2 mini mill type but can still be used

Answer:	The existing tool is .164 square by ~ 2" long. It can be reshaped with a grinding wheel. There wasn't a extra tool order form with the unit. There are cutter sets available from Grizzley and Harbor Freight Tools, but I have not ordered yet
