Answer:	Yes you can certainly attach these on a drill, I recommend that you choose the 1/32 thickness cut off wheels as they will be much thinner, will cut faster and cleaner. As for cutting golf club rods, not sure what metal they are made of but I would guess a hard one, but a drill should do it, although a lower RPM drill will take longer than an angle grinder or a cut off tool, but it will get the job done, its not about "if the drill can do it" its more like "how long will it take?". in my experience, it shouldn't take long. this would would be good for you if you are cutting something every once in a while and for occasional use.

Answer:	Your drill would most likely overheat, depending what you have.. Most drills have a motor designed for quick on/off functions. Sitting there trying to cut with this set up in your drill would probably take a lot longer due to the lower RPMs, therefore it would likely want to over heat. I would invest in a die grinder or angle grinder if you plan to do a lot of cutting
