Answer:	Yes. In fact I would ONLY use it wet.. otherwise it clogs in about 3 seconds flat and causes more damage than it does good. I've ordered these from 2 separate places. One was labeled by grit and one was not. I don't know which was which, but be aware of that, because the colors don't match between the two either lol. Either way I recommend buying at least 2 sets. You'll burn through them pretty fast. As soon as they start to clog, they go in the trash. Like I said, it causes more damage than good when that happens.

Answer:	I am sure water will work on it. It sharpens fine, but the threads where the guide rod screws in were all buggered on the unit I got, and the “F” clamp that came with it was of poor quality and did not work, and I have never seen a “F” clamp that would not work. Very poor quality clamp.

Adjust up, down and lean forward or back

Loosen the ratchet handles to adjust up and down and tilt the platform. Once your positions are found, secure both handles, then slightly loosen the bottom handle and lean the top half exactly where you would like for it to be.

Slide jig front to back

Loosen the base knob and you can adjust the whole unit by sliding it from the back to the front to achieve the perfect angle for the exact tool you will be sharpening.

Having the ability to "wrap" the platform around the 1" grinding wheel is important when trying to achieve just the right angle for your tools to be sharpened. Answer:	If I remember correct the base is about 6", but I threw these away and bought some from Oneway because they are 10 times better with cast iron top and much sturdier, instead of this aluminum stuff. I use mine to sharpen lathe chisels.

Answer:	Honestly, not 100% sure. I don't think so. I bought it for my install crew. They love it, I will be buying another one for my other crew. We messed around with it in the shop before they took it, plenty of power, cuts nice and smooth etc. zreo complaints other than it being heavy LOL. Highly recommend!

Answer:	It does. I own several corded saws and this is now my go to saw. Not having to run a cord out on the job site let’s me easily bring it to where the work is being done.

Question:	How do you affix the blade to the jig
Answer:	When you begin to grind the Peppers, flip the whole grinder upside down. Once it is ground or partially ground you can invert the grinder and continue to grind until the finely ground pieces to work their way down through the holes. This is the best way to achieve a finer product. If this is still not fine enough for your use you may have to find another grinder that is designed for use in the kitchen as this us usually used for smoking herbs. NOTE: When grinding upside down, be careful not to let the top fall off because the magnet (if applicable) is often not quite strong enough.

Answer:	The compound (paste) wears off and is reapplied with each sharpening. It does not build up. Eventually (200 sharpenings) the wheel gets somewhat loaded with metal, which is cleaned up with sandpaper. Full instructions are included with the deluxe kit.

Answer:	No way in the world I would pay over $100 for this. Its probably a vendor just taking a chance at a high sales price when a cheaper vendor dropped out.

Answer:	The Rikon Slow Speed Grinder has one mounting hole on each side. The spacing is 6 1/4" center to center of the holes.

Answer:	Correct it will fit. I had to do some light sanding to remove some minor surface gunk and improve the fit on the arbor to get the cbn to fit. (600 grit on a board against the running motor’s arbor) Additionally I added the pair of matching domed washers to improve centering of the wheel.

Answer:	No and the speed it does run at is no where near enough rpms to even scratch anything. Junk tool.
Question:	is its RPM good enough for buffing/polishing jobs
Answer:	Yes it is a high speed and will create a good amount of friction for buffing.
Question:	Can it sharpen cutlasses & hunting knives
Answer:	It’s a grinder like any other, it can sharpen knives, but a sharpening hone is much better to use.
Question:	Is it necessary to mount to a workbench? Thx
Answer:	I've used it several times for light grinding without it being mounted and it stayed in place very well. The grinding was for sharpening mower blades and some light shaping, nothing that required more than very light pressure on the grinder. With that being said, if it is not mounted, even with light grinding it can 'walk' around so it's important to keep an eye on it and make sure that it stays in a safe position.
