Answer:	These are just sandpaper, 60 or 80 grit I think. So they will work pretty well on aluminum, copper or brass but not so well on steel. To remove larger amounts of metal with a Dremel tool you'll do much better using steel or carbide burrs.

Answer:	These bands are not Dremel. I purchased these trying to save a little money. I should have payed a little more and got dremel. The ones in the picture would not stay on the mandrill for any time before coming completely apart. I went through almost all of them and got nothing done. I would no recommend them.

Answer:	Yup, works with 3 amp. I also use 4 amp batteries. The main difference is the length of time the tool will will run with strong power. Depending on what you need, in terms of how long you plan to grind, 3 amp may be enough. I have 2 spare batteries that I charge on the dual fast charger. The grinder will take two batteries to empty before one is charged full if grinder is used at full load virtually constantly. Don’t get me wrong, I think that this is a great tool

Answer:	Yes, however this grinder REQUIRES Wheels with 7/8" thru-hole. This is because the back flange and the nut combination... It has a shoulder which serves to precisely locate the grinding disk on the 5/8" - 11 arbor. The diameter of this shoulder (centering ring) is ⅞". If you use the 5/8 in through hole, there will be very little surface touching the discs... Only about ⅛", also the flange nut would tend to Shear the disc - it has a recess which perfectly accepts the shape & diameter of the shoulder.
Question:	Does this have a standard 5/8" spindle
Answer:	Shouldn't have any problems for flat or depressed disks on any contractor grade grinders. Don't have this one but check the key wrench if it could reach deep enough to remove the lock nut. The grinding stones are really deep as with diamond concrete grinding cup wheels. Couldn't find any aftermarket keys with deep enough reach, had to make my own.

Makita Corp is in Japan, but as with all tool manufacturers they have component plants in cheaper labor counties even if they have assembly plants in higher wage countries. Answer:	The model I received, Makita 9557PBX1 4-1/2-Inch grinder, is not variable speed. Nowhere on or included with the grinder indicates variable speed - only one speed, no load 10,000 rpm.

Question:	I'm confused. I see some people saying to use 7/8wheels and some say 5/8.Which one is it
Answer:	No , these are for tools with 6mm or 1/4" chucks. The dremel 8200 has a 3mm or 1/8" chuck.
Question:	Can this be used with a cut off wheel also
Answer:	If u want to sculpt wood you can depending on the tool u use with them. When used with pneumatic tools, which I think is recommended, they are aggressive and may be hard to control.
Question:	Can this item cut through a metal bolt? If so, what blade is recommended? Thanks in advance
Answer:	Only if the tool has a 1/4" shank. The dremel tools I have seen have a 1/8" shank.
