Answer:	In the shop I use my 3/8 impact wrench from dewalt with a 20v 5ah battery and i can go almost 2 days before having to charge my battery and i use it for almost everything. It will take off tires, pull headbolts, engine mounts, t-case bolts, and so on. I would recommend if you're working on your vehicle getting the impact wrench with impact sockets. I put about $500 into what i use and it hasn't let me down yet in almost 4 years. With the wrench you won't need the adapter from screw bit to socket so that will save you a headache if you loose it.

Answer:	The drill combo with the hammer setting is DCK299. However, I will say I thought I needed a hammer drill, it turns out it’s useless. An impact drill gives pulses of force laterally (in the direction of rotation) to turn big bolts, a hammerdrill delivers the same force forward. It turns out that this force is so minimal it’s basically useless. If you actually need a hammer drill what you really need is a rotary hammer. Much greater forward bang. A hammer drill is a bit like a vibrating razor. Only useful in masonry and then it goes just as fast without.

Answer:	My drill Chuck has been binding up since new. But still usable for now.. The impacts Chuck broke internally and wouldn't lock the bits in and the impact lost all speeds except for fast... I bought a new impact and it sparked and smelled like burning plastic for the first 30 minutes. Works now without an issue.will see.. I'd go with another brand,I'm a contractor and have been using DeWalt for 20+ years.DeWalt seems to have gone down hill. Not buying again next time.

Answer:	I have only used the 1/4" bit so far. I drilled 4 holes in thru 3/8" flat galvanized steel plate with a 1/2" battery drill. The 1/4" drill bit did just fine for me.

Question:	can it drill 1/4 holes into plastic
Answer:	----Its not the drill, It's the BIT ----Hanson makes particular bits for drilling plastic, with any drill regardless of voltage, and theyre available most any good hardware store or Tap Plastics. They have a particularly pointed tip, so don't ever attempt to ever use them on wood or metal, as doing so would render it crapp for plastic use from then on. I have 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 in my arsenal, and they pretty much cover any plastic, ABS, PVC, and especially Plexi-Glas projects I encounter. Yeah, they're a buck or two higher than regular bits, but they also wont crack your pretty plexi-glas project all to hell like a standard twist drill bit will.

Answer:	Yes, it has a light. But it's worse than useless. It lights the area nearby, but casts a shadow on the spot you are drilling. The glare makes it actually harder to see what you're doing.

Answer:	I had an oportunity to use the 18V when I installed the railings on my father in laws staircase. I worked absolutely great but I had to keep switching batteries and kept one on the charger. He got it last Christmas. I told myself then the Dewalt was far superior to the two brands of portable drills I was using that I was going to get a Dewalt for myself. Honestly, when I ordered the 20V I assumed it was the same as my father in law had but his was the 18V. I would be happy with either but the 20V I have is smaller in size and lighter than the 18V that he has. Plus the 20V lithium batteries last a long long time before you have to recharge but then again replacement batteries are expensive. I just used the 20V to build my garage and so far I've only swithed batteries 5 times and that includes all the siding, drywall, wire routing. BTW I use the new star bit screws for everything they are far superior to phillips and I have given all my boxes of phillips screws away; along with my two "other brand" cordless drills.

Question:	Will be too much for home use
Answer:	Glad people have given context to the failures of others - lack of water. A friend lent me his wet saw with this blade already used for a portion of his house (porcelain). New to tiling, I completed all the edge cuts required for just under 2,000 sq. ft. of 20"x20" tiling on the blade, then tackled my tile base board. After 20-30 repetitive cuts for 3x 4" and 1x 6" strips, the blade finally started catching, and stopping. Promptly purchased two more blades here - one to finish out the cuts for about 100 total baseboard pieces (with blade life leftover) and a second brand new as a partial thank you to my friend. If you burn out a blade on a box of tile, you're probably doing it wrong...

Answer:	This is purely a guess, but while I wouldn't cut regular glass with the blade, I'm thinking the composition of glass tiles would be different, and I'd give it a try. Also, I bought my saw at Lowe's, and some big box home improvement stores have saws set up. You might check and see if they'd be willing to cut one for you, using the blade. You'd likely have to buy a tile or two, but it'd be worth it. Third, I'd go online and check with a tile manufacturer to see what they recommend for cutting. Hopefully a pro tile setter will weigh in.

Answer:	YEP! In fact, I use the speed loader to make using my regular drill/driver faster. The Magnet holds the different bits I'm going between.

Question:	This may sound really dumb, but how does one remove a bit from the magnetic holder that was in its own bubble, the "magnetic screw lock sleeve
Answer:	I just got mine today. That bit pulls out from the back. I had to wiggle it around quite a bit, and then it came out. It gets easier after you do it a few times. It took me a minute to figure out how to use it. The bits push in from the back, you only use the long bits. It only made sense once I put it in my screw gun. The sleeve slides back on the bit enough to expose the tip. Then you can put a screw on it, and the magnet/sleeve holds the screw in place. That's their theory at least lol. I haven't tried it yet. It seems a little awkward, but I guess you could get used to it if you're putting in a bunch of screws.

Question:	How long does the battery take to charge
Answer:	It took me about 1-1/2 hours for each battery. The light blinks when it's done. They are great and you will like them with the 20v drill.

Answer:	Yes

Answer:	The "kit" as advertised on Amazon is the drill, charger, two batteries, and case. At $189.00 it is a great deal. The drill,etc. is terrific.
Question:	What is the torque rating of this drill
Answer:	Another way to figure out a torque rating of a Dewalt drill is to go to Dewalt's EU site, pick United Kingdom and look at the specs. They list both torque specs in this case. MAX is 70 nm soft is 27 nm converting to 619.55 in-lb and 238.97 in-lb. Hard torque is instant torque delivered. Usually at the start of an application; whereas, soft torque is applied throughout the application like when driving a screw.
Question:	does it come with a light
Answer:	A separate 20v utility light is available for around $15 which utilizes the same 20v L-I battery. I bought one last year and am very happy w/ it. It uses multiple led bulbs and spreads a more diffused light than the average flashlight, but I use it extensively out of doors and for low light repair projects.
Question:	Can i leave it charging over night without harming battery
Answer:	Yes you can but you should not for long periods of time.Its a simple thing every battery has a limited amount of charges that can be done.While Lithium Ion does discharge slowly they do discharge and will then waste a charge.Also the charger likely has an overcharge protector but that uses power too if not then it is always charging hence wasting more power.Your charger should take an hour with those tiny batteries add an hour charge time each mah on battery pack.

Answer:	Yes, charger and battery are included. Battery is long duration, lasting multiple tasks.
Question:	Is this drill sized and weighted well for use by a woman
Answer:	I use it and I am a woman with small hands. It is not as heavy as my husband's regular drill but it is more sturdy than my previous B&D driver/drill. I prefer this one even though it is a bit wider in the grip and a tad heavier. It's my favorite gadget.
