Answer:	Yes, you could drill holes but you need drill bits with special ends to fit the screwdriver. You can also use spade bits. The screwdriver may not drill many holes until it needs recharging.

Answer:	No, slightly less...by about 10 ft.lb. BUT- SnapOn uses NiCad 14.4v and total cost is 3x more. Dewalt uses a 20v Li-on battery and would last longer. I bought the bare tool & have 4 batts to interchange with my DW impact driver & DW hammer drill. The 3/8" is a good tool for bench work and some smaller auto tasks. Get a 1/2" for the big stuff. Can't go wrong with Dewalt. I'd never buy a NiCad or NiMh battery tool again, these batteries don't have a shelf life and have memory recharge issues.
Question:	Will a 20v Max 1.5 battery fit this impact
Answer:	Yes it will fit. The 1.5 may not last as long between charges. I use a 3ah battery instead but use it daily/commercially.

Answer:	It is about 6-1/2" from the tip where the it goes to the back of the handle. The handle part you grip is about 3-1/2" Side barrel is about 2" x 1-1/2". This is an awesome little screw driver for many home uses. Battery life is good for several small jobs of one bigger job. I would highly recommend for as a Home owner tool.

Answer:	What I found that sometimes when I barely turned the drill to start the drill was not enough and when I turned it a little further for more torque... The drill would some times spin out the screw head slot. This was more my fault because I should have looked at the choke setting on the chuck to adjust it to a lower setting. I found to loosen a screw was that first...make sure that the screw tip is the correct size for screw head slot. Next with the bit in the drill chuck, put the bit in the screw slot. Then WITHOUT turning on the drill, turn the screw manually to break the tightened connection. Then with the drill chuck choke adjustment mid way or low setting would easily loosen the screw slowly when I wanted to loosen slowly. Plus this saved some time and battery on multiple connections. To tighten I had to remember to set the choke setting low and it would tighten and then the choke action would (rattle). Then I could increase the choke setting 1-2 steps to ensure the screw terminal was tight. I hope I this helps.

Answer:	Definitely does the job on softer woods (e.g., basic 2x4s). I have been using it on all my shelving projects - mostly using #9 2-1/2" desk screws . The ability to change directions (in/out) makes it great for pre-drilling with a quick release drill bit without having to touch anything but the trigger. I am also impressed by the amount of torque this can generate, and the amazing battery life - really a great tool.

Answer:	As long as you don’t have to drill your own holes to assemble the furniture. Otherwise it would be a real time saver for light duty assembling.

Answer:	I got mine in 3 days from ordering it.
Question:	Drill through a two by four
Answer:	Not recommended at all. For one thing, this does not have a locking chuck or locking hex socket, meaning the only thing that holds in the bits is a small magnet. This means you will need 1/4" hex based drill bits. Also, you will have to hold the drill bit into the socket when reversing the bit out of the hole most times. Holding a moving bit is not safe as your fingers can slip resulting in cuts to your hands and fingers. Also note this is designed for driving screws so it does not have a "drilling" speed/high speed making any drilling slower than most would expect. I have used it to drill through drywall with success, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything tougher than that.
Question:	Is there any way to use this as a light-duty drill
Answer:	True, it spins more slowly and not great as a drill, but "is there any way", yes it can. It would just drill more slowly and would be ok for a cheap simple tool kit. For example drilling some small holes in wood. Large holes or metal drilling you should find something else.

I use these to support the bag closure spring clamps. Just clip them along the edge after you fold the flaps over to close the bag. I use 2 clamps. I cut the rear snout off behind the flange and put my bag on past the flange and it doesn't loosen. The cinch strap just needs put through the catch properly, with the teeth against the inserted end, so it stays tight.

Answer:	Lithium-ion batteries of the same nominal size and voltage will work, i.e. make the motor rotate. The problem is that lithium-ion batteries have a very slightly less voltage. This is not of great importance on many battery-powered products, but on a power tool of marginal power even with alkaline batteries, any slight diminution of voltage takes a battery powered tool into the uselessness. I have this tool, as of yesterday, and find it too underpowered for my light usage with even brand new Energizer batteries to replace the Chinese-name brand original batteries. The problem is tool design, not the batteries.

Answer:	I have used tool this for about six month and have not had situation where it is operating continuously for more than a 15 minutes. It does seem to need a recharge after use driving larger screws, but does recharge reasonably fast. I have used it for about an hour assembling some furniture and it needed a charge afterword.

Answer:	I don't see why not. Unless you have 40 or 50 screws!
Question:	Can you use it in reverse to unscrew something
Answer:	1/4" hex will fit, but for drilling it's a very slow turn...low RPMs. This is better suited as a screw-driver, guitar peg turner and of course a very slow speed drill, if you're in no hurry. If drilling, I'd stick to small bits...maybe 1/8" or less. Not sure it'll torque a larger bit thru anything. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I concur with Informed Buyer. The drill bits are smooth cylinder base and the screw bits are hex base. There are customer pictures you can view to verify this. Please advise. (Side note) I bought this in 2013 for 24$, it's on sale as of right now for 18$.
