Answer:	No, it doesn't, it will continue to spin after you let go of the trigger. At least when you just hold it in the air. In practice when you're drilling something in, I haven't found it to keep going, even with small screws.

Need a Hammer drill for drilling masonry. though this with a Carbide drill would do a passable job. It would be good for driving screw into masonry anchors. Get Faster drill for drilling metal.

I cut the rear snout off behind the flange and put my bag on past the flange and it doesn't loosen.
