Answer:	I don't know that I would use it for wood, though I guess you could. It can be set to drill, to jack hammer, or to drill and jackhammer combined. Also, don't know about torque, but I found it to be sufficient for all applications I've tried it in. It is surprisingly powerful and durable for a snall handheld unit.

Answer:	It has 3 options: 1: drill without hammer, only spining, 2: drill with hammer, 3: hammer only for chisel. No spinning...

Answer:	Yes, it can lock in position either horizontally or vertically, as I have used it in both positions. It may lock in other angles, but I have not tried it in angles other than parallel or perpendicular to the handle. I also will mention that this unit has performed admirably and I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase. I was able to remove old tile (put down in the 1950's with thick-set. I found it works best at lower speeds and sharp angles of attack. Take your time and you won't work up any sweat, letting the tool do the work. Hope this helps.
Question:	How do you place the drill bit in the hammer drill, I have been working on this task for a few hours,it do not grip the bits at all
Answer:	This drill does require the special SDS carbide drill bits that have three slots in the shank. I pull the nose piece back and press a little on the bit and it will slip into the drill. I then rotate the bit to ensure that it is locked into place. The slots in the SDS drill bits allows then to transfer the drills hammer action to the drill point. With this drill only bits that are marked SDS Plus will work.

Answer:	Yes.. they take their own bits, but it does a great job drilling holes. I've drilled 1/2" holes through my solid 8" thick foundation several times. It is hard concrete with river rock from the 1940's so it is very hard. It goes through pretty quick.

Answer:	Definitely. If you use a chisel bit on the hammer setting it will blast right through it

Answer:	The largest sds bit I have been able to find is 1 3/8 (trade size 1 inch emt hole) however in doing some digging product specifications specify 5/8 inch max bit still size

Answer:	yes - used it for several 1 3/8 holes with coring bits

Answer:	I would say very well. Used a Bosh bit. 8 foot rod going into wonderful Mizzou red clay. Took about 2 minutes. I did add a little dish soap and water out of habit.

Answer:	I noticed some runout on my brand new DCH133 also, it was approximately 0.06". I notified Dewalt to see what they have to say just now. Runout will make the holes bigger than intended for example if I am drilling a 0.25" hole, my runout will turn it into a 0.31" hole. This is a problem if the fastener tolerances dont allow for the larger diameter...
