Answer:	I don’t know that. I have a black n decker trimmer and it fits it. If the battery type is the same then it should fit. Just compare the batteries. If the prong setting is the same then it should fit. That’s what I did when I purchased this.

Answer:	There is no real difference in the 2 drills. The single item and drill in the kit are the same drill and the same battery.

Answer:	My 780 has a built in LED lite. Normally that is not really important unless you are working in dark places, which my husband was finishing the light in the hot tub and it was getting dark out. The light was extremely handy. I bought this for me because I wanted a lighter weight drill motor, however when a drill motor is needed for a project, he grabs mine. We are both tool people and each Christmas I put my orders in and let him know not to buy me cheap stuff. Unfortunately this eliminates me from using them first.
Question:	Cold someone please advise if this will run off a 230v power supply. i.e. does it have a built in converter. thanks
Answer:	The charger is rated 120 VAC only, 60 Hz. The cord is standard US 120VAC prongs, and no provision for swapping (unlike many laptop power supplies). Its manual is very specific about temperature range for charger and battery. It does not look adaptable to 240 VAC to me, and as fussy as it sounds, the 60 Hz may be critical too (in case you are going where 240 VAC is 50 Hz).
Question:	Chuck problems
Answer:	I have been using more than one of these drills in my cabinet shop and they have worked great. I have not noticed any problem with the chuck on any of ours. I would have to check but if you open the chuck up completely you could check if the retaining screw inside is loose. Not sure if this model has that screw.

They do this to prevent people from buying a $20 black and decker battery and using it on all DeWalt tools. This forces people to buy the more expensive DeWalt battery if they have DeWalt tools.

This one is superior to ours, and has 1400 inch lbs of torque, so yes it will.
