Question:	What are the pipe specs, id and od
Answer:	Center Post is 2 and 1/2 in outer diameter. It's about 30 inches tall. I don't want to disassemble it to get the inner diameter but it's not a very thick walled pipe

Answer:	I did and it is plenty of power to tare through metal and for knife/EDC Multi Tool making. I was very pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with the Value I got out of the WEN 4276. for ~$45 can't get any better.
Question:	How sturdy is it? I am not able to bolt it to my floor
Answer:	If you're not able to bolt it to the floor, try this... Take a pair of 3' or 4' x3/4" pressure treated plywood squares. Glue them together with a good adhesive and drive a bunch of deck screws in to make sure they are solid. Then trace cut the plywood into a 3' diameter circle and bolt the stand in the center. Now you can lean the grinder stand on edge and roll it to a new location. You could add leveling or rubber feet also.

Question:	What is differences/advantages for a variable speed verses a slow speed
Answer:	The advantage to having a variable speed is two fold: The slower speed is generally used for sharpening and honing while the higher speed is for removing material faster and buffing/polishing with a polishing wheel or wire wheel. The slower speed creates less friction and therefore less heat while the higher speed (with a grinding wheel) creates more heat.

Answer:	5 amps x 115 volts = 575 watts. 1 hp is around 745 watts, so it works out to be a bit more than 3/4 hp.

Answer:	The stone isn't bent, its the mandrel washers that are on both side of the wheel that are not true. Mine are the same way. I tried to contact WEN, never got a response

Answer:	If you are serious about making knives, I would get heavier and mote powerful.
Question:	How do you secure it to the workbench
Answer:	2 holes at the bottom for bolts to secure to a bench. Place Bench Grinder on workbench, use holes as a template and mark with pen the 2 positions for the bolts. Remove Grinder, drill holes and secure with bolts, washers and nuts. Ten minutes.
Question:	How hard is it to put a polishing wheel on? And how good does it do? I'm doing it for restoring straight razors
Answer:	Polishing wheel can be installed easily. This particular model will serve you well as the speed is not high but will polish without damage to mayerila or wheel.

Answer:	Rom my experience it is either on or off. If you want variable speed, spend more money!
Question:	I embarrassed I don’t know this, but how do you tighten the arbor bolts? It seems like one loosens the other and there’s no good way to tighten it
Answer:	Don't be embarrassed - one side of the unit has a thread that is the REVERSE of the other. From memory it is the left hand side as you face the unit and so to tighten it you turn the nut as if you were loosening it. The reason is so the spinning motion of the motor doesn't allow the wheel to come loose. Counterintuitive but it works - enjoy!
Question:	How many watts does this take to run
Answer:	The grinder is rated at 6.25 amps, 10 amps would work fine, breakers are rated in amps, not watts...light bulbs are rated in watts.
Question:	How does this model compare to Jets other grinder, model 578008 which seems identical in specs
Answer:	This grinder is a consumer grade while model 578008 is industrial grade. This has small stamped steel wheel flanges while the 578008 has machined wheel flanges. 578008's wheels will always run truer. Published motor specs can be deceiving, this grinder motor is a consumer grade 120 volt motor, the 578008 is an industrial grade motor that is capable of running on either 120 or 220 volts. Run on 220, the motor starts easier and lasts longer. Dust collection equipment is easier to hook up on the 578008's single exhaust exit vs this ones dual oval exits and 578008 is OSHA compliant with an OSHA approved switch. For Me, for the little money more they ask for the 578008 it's a no-brainier go with their industrial grinder model 578008 watch for discounts on the internet, I just picked up the 578008 for 220.00, no tax and free shipping. Answer:	Nameplate says 120 volts 4.2 amps when multiplied, it equals 504 watts. One HP is equal to 746 watts by definition. If it was 100% efficient, which is not possible by the Laws of Physics, it would be 504 divided by 746 or .676 HP. Since most motors are only 90% efficient, that would be .676 times .9 = .608 HP. That is between 1/2 and 5/8 HP. Typical of inflated claims by manufacturers. --Master Electrician--

Question:	No where does it say how tall this stand is. I need a 33-36" hieght. How tall is this stand
Answer:	It is 32" tall. I am just over 5' 10" tall and with my grinder on it, it is at a pretty good height for me. It has holes in the feet, so if you want it taller you can always mount it of something to bring it up to the level you want. It was well worth the cost.
Question:	Could you mount a 45lb 5 " bench vise on this stand that will be used to grip 20-30 lb items
Answer:	Only if you mount a wider circular base to the feet to prevent tipping. Legs are not long enough for a top heavy item.
Question:	Would this work for a Skil Drill Press
Answer:	I don't really think it would work. Drill presses are generally made to mount on a work bench or are floor type drill press. I would look for a sturdy work bench.

Answer:	The center hole is not threaded, this is a 5/8" diameter hole

Answer:	If you use a cleaning product with the brush. It removed line scale from my showers.

Answer:	If you're referring to the straight bristled, small brush, I would say no. The brush that has a full rounded head would probably work much better. If I was going to tackle door tracks I think I would try something else. I've found that worn out Sonicare heads work very well for narrow slot cleaning.

Question:	Will a benchtop drill press fit this stand
Answer:	I put a good size vise on my bench grinder stand and Im pretty sure a drill press would fit, if not you could bolt down a bigger base and then attach your drill press.
Question:	Will this stand work, For mounting a Reloading Press on to it etc
Answer:	It might. As long as you understand that is not at all what it was intended for. I like mine but I use it for wheel grinding machine as intended.
Question:	Would a table top band saw fit on it
Answer:	I would say yes, but it depends upon the size of the bandsaw base. It might be a good idea to make a base of 3/4" plywood large enough to be useable for shelf area and then attack your bandsaw to the plywood. I have done this ON a few of my machines and it works out well.

Question:	Does this stand wobble at all? It's adjustable, but looks like it might be wobbly
Answer:	I have 2 of these, and neither wobble at all. One has a bench grinder on it; the other a large buffer. The secret is proper assembly - look for my review post for tips on that.
Question:	I have a 6" 30 pound Irwin vise that I want to make portable so I can use it anywhere. Will this work for that? Thanks
Answer:	I have no idea, but let me give you the arrangement of holes in the top so you can see if your vise holes line up. There are 6 holes in the top. Two are in the middle on each side, 7 3/4" apart. The other four are closer to the corners (my vise requires 4 bolts).... they are 7 3/4" apart length wise, & 3 3/4" apart front to back. I measured center to center. Hope that helps.
Question:	Would it handle a bench drill
Answer:	I don't believe it would. The platform isn't big enough for a bench top drill press and if it did it would be top heavy and unstable.
Question:	Can you mount a 45 lb 5" bench vise to this stand that will be used to hold things no more than 20-30 lbs
Answer:	This is a nice solid product but asking it to hold 45 pounds plus 30, or 75 pounds is asking too much of it or any product with this type of tall rolling design. In my opinion for your purpose you need a solid table.

Answer:	The rice is to clean the bits of granite that may have been left behind from the carving process. The garlic, coriander, and cumin are to season the pestle and mortar. The instructions for prep are on the outside of the box. Though I don,t believe whole cumin or coriander are required.
