User questions & answers

Question: what is the actual width of the 10" blade
Answer: It is not full tang. Only goes about 1/4 down the handle. Don't let that keep you from getting one. These things are rough and tough!! I use mine for about everything. I have chopped firewood, beheaded a few animals(I am a trapper, not psychotic), and have thrown it in friendly family hatchet throwing competitions. Mainly I carry it in the door of my truck just in case I need it(bullets don't last forever and you may need a back up).
Question: how thick is this blade
Answer: This is a survival axe, so the weight will not be the same as it is for a throwing axe. I am sure that it could be thrown, but we do not recommend it for a throwing axe.
Question: Why does it say 7/8"-⅝" arbor? will the 5" fit on the felker fts
Answer: The back of the sheath has a 1 1/4" nylon belt loop to slide your belt into. There are no clips, but the loop is a little bigger than 2" so a large belt would fit. The loop is tight to the sheath at first, so the bigger the belt the harder to fasten the tomahawk in while you are wearing it.
Question: will this cut glass tile
Answer: Yes true its like a salmon color

User questions & answers

Question: what is the arbor size
Answer: 16 inches
Question: I thought the arbor was 1 inch. Does the brass bushing come out to make it a 1 inch arbor
Answer: The handle is 15 inches long, the tomahawk extends 6 inches into the handle and is secured with three star screws, it is very solid and it is a beast of a tomahawk. This tomahawk is no joke it is a serious serious weapon !
Question: What is the recommended rpm speed
Answer: This axe would easily break windows and go through drywall without a problem, but I do not know how well it would work for breaking through siding, stucco, or other exterior wall materials since it is pretty light weight. I would think you would want something with a longer handle and more weight to penetrate exterior walls.

WHAT KIND OF DIAMOND BLADE DO I NEED?

Selecting the size of the diamond blade is all dependent on what tool you are using, as well as the material you are trying to cut. Every application will vary on the task at hand, as well as the bore size and segment height of the blade.

DECIDE WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT

The initial price of the tool or the cost per cut. For smaller jobs or occasional use, a low priced tool may be preferable. For larger jobs or regular use, a higher priced tool will actually be less expensive to use because it will deliver the lowest cost per cut.

KNOW THE TYPE AND POWER OF YOUR EQUIPMENT

Will you be using a 5-hp power cutter or a 70-hp flat saw? The answer will dramatically impact blade choice. The diamond blade size, whether you can use a wet or dry blade and the rpms needed to spin the blade all depend on the equipment.

CORRECTLY IDENTIFY WHAT YOU ARE CUTTING

Correctly identifying the material to be cut is the most important factor in choosing a diamond blade. It directly affects the cutting speed and the life of the blade. When you know the material our diamond tool specification sheet help you find the most suitable tool. As a general rule, determine the material which will be cut most often, or the material for which top blade performance is most important.

CHOOSE WET OR DRY CUTTING

Choosing wet or dry may be a matter of user preference or job requirement. Wet cutting is usually preferred because you can cut deeper when using water as a coolant. For tile and masonry saws, either wet or dry cutting blades can be used. For power cutters, dry blades are more popular, but they are often used wet to control dust. Wet blades MUST be used with water. Dry blades may be used either dry or wet, depending on the job and the equipment.

  • Arbor: 1"-7/8"bushing, Rim height .395"(10mm). Size is 10"x.070"x.395"/10mm.
  • Hot-pressed sintered blade: The grain of diamond will not become larger, the density is high and the mechanical property is good. There is no need to add sintering aids or forming aids, so the purity is high.
  • Main features: Continuous rim blade and precise tolerance control provide fast cutting.
  • Designed for: Ceramic tiles and porcelain etc.
  • Applicable models: Angle grinder, Circular saw, Hand-held power saw, Masonry saw, Wet cutting.

Answer: Yes, it could be used for cut a little glass.
Question: what do you mean by segment dimension? Also, I am using a 1.5 hp saw. Will this blade work with this horse power

Question: Will this work w/$30 angle grinder attempting to cut toilet flange hole in 20x20" porcelain tile? Is an adapter needed? TY
Answer: If you are using the longest pins (2 in) you can shoot about 5-6 pins before the air pressure drops enough to require action from the compressor (I run with the maximum limit at 100 lbs). This has never been an issue for me as it recovers very quickly.
Question: will this blade dry cut 3/8 inch porelain tile with no chipping
Answer: No case for nailer and hose to cheap for Senco, but compressor and nailer very good.

Answer: You can use and extension cord. No problem at all. It only draws 4 amps, so you really don’t even need a heavy duty one.
Question: Cómo hago para cambiar un Disco
Answer: The air compressor isteslf has an aluminum housing, with a steel sleeve in the compression cylinder for long term wear reliability. The pressure vessel just stores the air, and is usually made of steel.
