Answer:	Always check the data plate for the correct operating voltage required to run the tool. Never run a tool that is placarded as 115 VAC on a 200 to 220 VAC source. Vice a Versa, a tool that is placarded for 220 VAC will not work on a 115 VAC source. So, any "bulbs" would have to match the input voltage. Check with a hardware store or tool repair location.

Answer:	1/4" shank. Maximum bit diameter 0f 1 3/8". With a maximum bit diameter of 1 3/8" don't attempt to make heavy cuts as that could tend to over load the motor. Take light cuts and increase depth or horizontal cuts incrementally as long as they don't affect router speed or loading.

Answer:	This is a 1/4" collet router. If you want to use 3/8" (new to me) or 1/2" get a 1/2" router. I've used routers for 45 years. Own a 1/4" and two 1/2" Here's a quick guide: 1/4" router is the most widely useful, can be held in one hand for quick work, your arm doesn't get tired as fast as with a larger router. This one is good for hinge guides and door installs, laminate trimming (laminate trim bits with bearings), round over of the edges of boards or plywood. Makes a neat no slivers edge, get 1/2", 3/4" diameter cove bits (these will make 1/4 and 3/8" from the edge curves) I get these with bearings as well. (If you want less of a curve, use less depth, the curve is not symmetrical--no one will care. This is what I usually grab my 1/4" router for (I've got a Porter Cable 1/4" that's 40 years old. Can't figure out how to take it apart to replace the cord. Rather than a $60 trip to the tool repair I'm thinking of this one, vacuum dust collection is a plus). Shelf dados, usually 1/2 to 3/4" wide, is best done with a more powerful 1/2" router, but you can get by with this with two passes (overlapping) of a 1/2" straight bit. Plunge routing: always use dust collection. Freehand scroll work: 1/8 or 1/4" round bits- I don't do this, others do. If you don't yet have a router, or a specific shop need, get a 1/4". If you think you need one of those $400 router tables: don't. Make your own or buy a jointer. If the knob is not used for anything else, the edge guide might attach to it, but I doubt it. I don't think this will work on the gfk12v-25 router. I use mine on a Bosch pr20e router.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The PR004 allows you to route extremely close to a vertical surface in front of the tool, as close as 1/2" when a 3/4" bit is used. If you remove the black offset spindle cover it further reduces the distance from 3/4" bit and vertical surface to 3/8". Question:	Can this be modified to fit the gkf125cen? newest bosch router
Answer:	I had this similar base from an older Bosch router and I made it fit my new gkf125ce. First you have to remove the thread adjustment rod cause the old one was course thread and the new one is fine threaded. Second I took and nocked out the alignment pin that sticks through the base to align the base and router, small punch or nail and hammer. Third I took a half moon file and filed the raised area flat in the inside of the base where the threaded lock down is located.

Answer:	I cannot answer for the PC 7518, but have adjusted to work with the PC 890 Series plunge base. Adjustments included use of the Bosch 1/4-IN rod sleeve guides, purchased 1/4x36-IN steel rod (halved), shape filed rod ends to fit PC 1/4-IN anchor holes, set screws and prepared1/8-IN thick Lexan base plate to fit (rod anchor height need). BTW, no rod adjustments needed with use of 3/16-IN steel rod though stayed with 1/4-IN rod as Bosch edge guide had 1/4-IN rod capacity. Note: As stated by Bosch, comparability not tested. This works well.

Answer:	I bought a 4' length of 3/8" rod from Home Depot and cut it in half, so each of the 2 rods is 24" which works perfectly.
