Answer:	I have purchased two of these batteries, and when fully charged will provide several hours of service. I have never had to change batteries during a NASCAR race and I use them listen to freight trains when I am out photographing them. The only suggestions I have is that either you are not get it fully charged, or it is just plain defective. The only charging indicator on my scanner is a warning just before the battery dies, so I have two batteries and I charge both, leaving the scanner plugged in all night long, 8-12 hours for each battery. I also have a 12V charger to keep them topped off in the car if need be.

Answer:	I use the blades on all my multi tools .... desalt, rigid, porter cable, fien,and Rockwell. I don’t see why they wouldn’t work on mm40 unless it uses smaller blades. I would try again and make sure you use the little collar piece with teeth on it to hold blade in position that you want. I don’t every recall seeing a multi tool that these wouldn’t work! Also pretty sure only two different blades are closed back which require bolt and open back universal blades which slide in around bolt
