Answer:	unfortunately, most everything is made in china now.. even if it says made in the USA, most of the parts are imported in from other countries..

Answer:	I don't know the cost but the extra battery can be bought at Home Depot
Question:	Do the lithium batteries come with a Ridgid lifetime warranty
Answer:	Yes, if purchased through Home Depot. The slip that comes in it says that after you register it, it "covers all defects ... and normal wear items for the lifetime of the original, registered tool owner. Items include: Brushes, chucks, motors, switches, cords, gears, and even BATTERIES." I just registered my Home Depot purchase R860052K, and at the end of the registration, it says (NOTE THE INFO about the 3-year): "Thank you for submitting your RIDGID product and purchase information from your purchase at The Home Depot. We appreciate your patience while we cross-reference it with our sales data. Currently your product is covered by a 3-year limited warranty, and upon approval, it will be upgraded to Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) status."
