Answer:	The 3/8" hoses are 3/8" have a 1/4" diameter fittings. If the filter has 3/8" ports you will need to reduce the ports down to 1/4" to fit the hose.

Answer:	I really dont know. I kind of doubt it. This is a small compressor for airbrush painting. I would use one of those small compressors from home depot. They hold more pressure for your needs.
Question:	Should the car engine be running while using this product? I have heard both that it should be from some and that it shouldn’t be from some
Answer:	It has 100 PSI on the dial but I use it for model car painting at 20 PSI. It has a small tank but even so I can spray at constant pressure non stop for how I use it. Don't know how it will perform at higher PSI but it's perfect for me. I see it lasting a very long time and I'll buy another one in a heartbeat if I ever needed to replace this one.
Question:	Is this powerful enough to blow out dust, dirt and gunk
Answer:	Been intending to do it anyway so I just checked mine with a pretty decent SLM. 56-60 dBA at distance of one meter so I'd say 57 is correct.
Question:	How many amps of current does it draw and what is the duty rating at 100 PSI
Answer:	The unit is 12.5" Long, 5.5 " Wide, 13" tall out of the box and sitting on the table. I don't think I have the box any more but it wasn't much bigger than the compressor if I recall correctly.

Question:	what size nozzles come with this unit & how many cfm required
Answer:	If you need to ask this question, you probably also have no idea that you MUST wear a proper respirator. If you use silica/glass or many other types of media in a sand blaster without a respirator (not a mask, but a full on twin filter setup) you will have just enough time to realize you screwed up before you drown in your own blood. A friend of mine was lucky and only lost 70% of his lung capacity after not knowing this when his brother found him almost dead on the garage floor. Im sorry for being graphic but this is no joke. You'll end up dead if you dont wear one.
Question:	Will this work well as a soda blaster
Answer:	I started out using 80 grit glass bead from TSC to strip paint and rust from metal. By putting down a plastic sheet, all I had to do after sand blasting was sweep it up, screen it and and I got another four uses out the it. All abrasives wear down to dust. I tried 40-60 grit garnet on an old heavily coated radiator and it worked great. But it did break down faster than the glass bead. The play sand mentioned in the other "answers" is a great way to go once you have screened it. For me, I have found 40 to 80 grit abrasives work best for metal cleaning and what type of media is up to you based on your budget and enviromental considerations.

More than a foot away on a sunny day would be ineffective.

Answer:	In this kit it is the dual tire chuck

Answer:	No, it won't. I have the same model and bought this kit and there's no way to make it work.
Question:	Will this kit fit the Campbell Hausfeld FP
Answer:	Yes it will fit. However, it's a good idea to get an extra fitting kit also that has a bunch of connectors, unions, nipples, and a few more quick release ends. The extra parts will come in handy cause every time you get another nozzle or air tool or whatever, you will need these parts. They go together really easy. If you were good with Lego's as a kid, this shouldn't be hard to figure out. Also, you will need Teflon tape, (very important)!!! Without it you will have leaks in all your fittings. Tape is cheap, so use it generously...usually 4 or 5 wraps around each threaded fitting will be good. A couple adjustable wrenches to hold each of the two pieces your putting together and you will be good to go.

Answer:	I would think you would have to secure and seal a small pipe in the tube end, then attach either the male or female fitting to the pipe. These fittings aren't designed to attach to anything except other fittings.

Answer:	The ferrule tube seal is the gasket which seals the intake and exhaust tubes where they enter the motor. The originals will be destroyed when you take the unit apart. They work similarly to a compression fitting but are one time use so don't use them until you are ready to assemble the motor.

Question:	My compressor tries to start but acts as if it was trying to start under load. I replaced the unloader valve and the check valve, neither helped. I need suggestions
Answer:	This belt is 48 inches long inside-has 6 J ribs --The 11 long could be a misprint. It worked fine on my compressor. Just to confirm the 48 will fit measure with tape or cut a string 48 inches long and wrap around compressor pulley and motor pulley. Make sure the motor is all the way forward in the adjustment slot.

Answer:	9/16 wide x 48 in long
Question:	My hs518000aj unloades for too long and the motor runs too much. does eventually stop unloading though. am i on the right track replacing this part
Answer:	I just realized after replacing mine, all the switches look the same. If you compressor is around 125 psi and all fittings and connections are the same you should be good. Most switches are superceeded by this switch. If you really want your own switch type in you switch part number in yahoo.com and maybe something will come up or checkout eBay.
