Answer:	OMG I have seen and own Allen wrenches in all lengths so who is to say what is standard. Hope this helps you. Trying to hit the largest, the middle and the smallest the 3/8" is 7" OAL. The 3/16" is 4-3/4". The smallest (.050") is 2-7/8". I find them comfortable in length. The metric version is very similar in lengths.

Answer:	They are labeled - one set says metric and the other US. If the product you are using the tools on was made in the Us, use that set. If not, use the metric set. Or go by trial and error.

Answer:	Unscrew the tools enough to remove it. You can use the other tool to unscrew the tool the plastic is in. It’s annoying I know.
