The F connector compression tool is a specialized tool used in the field of cable and connector installation, particularly in applications related to coaxial cables. It is commonly used in the context of home improvement, telecommunications, and audio/video installations. Here's what we can tell you about the F connector compression tool:
Purpose: The F connector compression tool is designed to compress and secure F connectors onto the ends of coaxial cables. F connectors are commonly used for cable television (CATV), satellite TV, and broadband internet connections.
Compression Fittings: F connectors typically have a male-threaded end that needs to be attached to the coaxial cable. The compression tool is used to secure the connector to the cable by compressing it tightly. This ensures a reliable and interference-free connection.
Usage: To use the F connector compression tool, you insert the F connector onto the cable, place the connector and cable into the tool, and then compress the tool's handle. This action compresses the connector onto the cable, creating a secure and durable connection.
Benefits: Using a compression tool for F connectors provides several advantages. It offers a more reliable and consistent connection compared to other methods like crimping. It also helps maintain the cable's impedance, which is crucial for optimal signal quality in applications like cable TV and satellite TV.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the connector need to be snug and tight inside the slot for an ideal crimp? If I don't allow a tiny gap I won't be able to get the connector in |
Answer: | First use the wet towel when screen is wet use the dry towel. Place the white frame on the phone press it down to secure it. Peel off the screen protector and grab it with your fingertips (edge). Place the top part first and slowly press it down gently until the entire screen is in place if you have any bubles rub it down with a micro fiber cloth to remove them. |
Question: | made in USA |
Answer: | It is 9H. |
Question: | can i use any univeral connector apart from klein tools connector |
Answer: | The application of the screen protector should not affect the use of any case with the phone. It form fits to the actual screen but leaves a little room around the edges. If your case covers over the edge of the screen protector some it probably wouldn't be a bad thing. My case does not, and I am seeing where there is some slight bubbling and hazing forming at the very edge of the screen protector, likely due to putting it in and out of my pocket. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Did anyone have trouble inserting the cable all the way until the white insulation is flush with the bottom of the screw head |
Answer: | Dunno, but these are VERY CHEAP! If you tighten them too much, the will break off...avoid these at all times! |
Question: | the crimper does not work, it just pushes down on the cable end but does not seal the end please provide instruction |
Answer: | I would buy a cable stripping tool. It will do a much better job for you and it is much faster. Plus you are in no danger of cutting your fingers and it is not very expensive for a cable stripping tool. |
Question: | How can i tell exactly what king of coax cable i have? it is a standard cable for cable tv as far as i know |
Answer: | I would return them. |
Question: | How many connectors come in the kit |
Answer: | As others have mentioned, these do not *easily* fit the slightly thicker RG-6/Q (quad shield) cable, but they do work. The connector has an internal metal cylinder that is supposed to insert in the shielding space (between the inner and outer insulation) , and make contact with the shielding. Two things are required. Firstly, prepare the cable with the center copper wire extending about an inch past the end of the inner insulation. This will allow the center to protrude past the end of the connector (trim it to size after the connector is crimped on). Secondly, push the connector onto the cable as hard as you can. You want to have the internal metal cylinder make contact with the shielding, and insert itself as far as it can between the inner and outer insulation. Crimp, then trim the central copper wire to size. |

3.For stripping coaxial cable: a.Insert the cable until it aligns with the cable guide. b.Insert your index finger into the stripper's finger ring, rotate the stripper by counter clockwise 3-5 times. The cable insulation is cut while you are turning the stripper. c.Open the jaws and remove the cable. Answer: | All do |
Question: | Are the included connectors rg |
Answer: | Yes it generally works with any small video playing device (phones, iPod's, mp4's, etc.). You just set the device behind the screen and watch. Just don't sit too close when you watch video. Optimal viewing distance is probably 3-6 feet away from magnifier. I think it is a great buy. |
Question: | How do you adjust for the correct compression on an rg6 connector |
Answer: | Better for viewing videos. Difficult to interact with phone to play games. |

User questions & answers
Question: | The connectors slip off easily after i fully compressed them on to rg6 cables . anyone have the same problem |
Answer: | I have one and it says "Made in China or Taiwan" on the packaging. |
Question: | Will these connectors work for rg-6 quad shield cable |
Answer: | I suppose so. The length of travel in the tool should be sufficient to handle most, if not all, RG6 compression connectors. I bought some Belden connectors that were supposed to be suitable for RG6 quad cable, but the cable end of the connector was not as wide as the Klein quad connector's. I returned the Belden connectors and had great success with the Kleins. After cutting away the jacketing with a Klein radial coax cable stripper and peeling back 3 of the 4 shields with the flathead screwdriver on my Swiss Army knife, the inserting of the stripped cable in the Klein connector is fast and pretty much goof proof. You have to apply some force when inserting the cable into the connector, but after you push a dozen or so it becomes natural. Crimping the connector with the Klein compression tool (VDV212) takes 2 or 3 seconds: 1 to 2 seconds to verify the alignment, and 1 second to crimp. |
Question: | Does this stripper work with RG11 coax cable |
Answer: | this ad is for the VDV212-008, and this tool DOES NOT adjust, and WILL NOT WORK with the PPC type connectors....I fell into this trap of mis-leading reviews when I bought this tool....it works, but only with Klein connectors. |
Question: | Is the compression tool adjustable for longer rca connectors |
Answer: | It is clear enough to see ok, but it works best in a darkened room. |
User questions & answers
Question: | What's the blue threaded part of the connector do? Years ago I did a lot of coax wiring with no problems. I guess connectors have changed |
Answer: | I wouldn't think so. The tip of the rca wouldn't fit. Has a small hole size. |
Question: | Does this include instructions |
Answer: | yes it works on RG 11 |
Question: | how many of the twenty connectors are RG |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | How do you change the compression tool aroutnd to work with other cable diameters (RG559 etc) as shown in the photo image |
Answer: | I leave a small gap to allow the connector to be inserted and removed. |
