Answer:	Short answer is, Yes. If I recall they say itle do down to 18 AWG, buuuut...Long answer is... The smaller the wire more finesse it takes to keep it in the grove and not jump out from under the blade. It makes a difference if its solid or stranded too. I've done alot of #14 on mine but it takes more work than, say #8 or even #10.

Question:	Anybody find that the center copper wire ends up too short on rg6 cables? the wire extends less than 1/16" past the f-connector
Answer:	this is for stripping the outer jacket on multi conductor cables. The depth of cut is adjustable. Spiraling is a technique, usually you just circle around and pull it straight off.
Question:	are the product dimensions correct at 1.5 x 3.8 x 9.6 inches? that seems really big
Answer:	I've used it on 1/4 SO cord, about the max that it will take, #1 THHN wire, 10/4 &12/4 SO and other various sizes of wire and cable. It works perfect once you get used to which way to orient the blade. Way better than the Ideal I used to use. You won't be disappointed, other than the cost, but what good tools don't cost more?

Question:	The info packet mentions that lubricating the moving parts is very important for the life of the tool, what type of oil do you guys use
Answer:	Well i've had this tool for a long while and i haven't use any lubricating for the katapult wire stripper i just unsrcew it to loosen it up or tighten it more. But still there is types of oils for the other tool that become too stiff to move during time. I just research it on the web to find out what, sorry that i haven't answered your question clearly

Question:	Can this strip and crimp coaxle cable
Answer:	Yes, it will strip coax cable. I stripped a piece of RJ-6. The outer jacket was removed leaving the wire mesh shield in place. I then pushed the mesh shield down and stripped the inner layer exposing the copper core. Worked like a charm. However, I don't recommend crimping coax cable with this tool. The crimper on this tool is designed for crimping electrical connectors. Suggest you invest in a coax crimp tool.

Answer:	They are not too heavy as to drag you down while you are working. However, these are sturdy wire strippers. They are not so light as to feel cheap. They are just right.

Answer:	It's supposed to be for adjusting the stripping strength so you don't damage the wire when you strip it. I wouldn't recommend these strippers to anyone. Answer:	I just measured mine, Max diameter that will fit is 24.3mm, about 0.96" Minimum is 3.6mm, about 0.14" inches. I am not sure how effective they will be at the extremes, as I do not have any wire of those dimensions to check. I measured the opening on the tool.
