It's rare that you'll have these sockets crack, but their ratchets would be better used by throwing in the steel bin and using the melted steel for something else. Teckton will ship you a replacement tool wherever you are and you'll likely see it the next day or a day after. As far as I know Teckton doesn't make 12 point sockets. |

| Answer: | I being a former ASE Certified master technician would suggest you go with 1/2 “drive set being the caliper bolts are a bit tough and require more muscle to remove. Of course we are talking metric. I assume you know what other tools you’ll need right? Like a c-clamp to push the caliper pistons back into the calipers to install the front break pads, and I recommend new rotors to avoid pedal pulsations. And if you have drum breaks in the rear, a pair of break spring pliers to change the brake shoes!. Also a set of good quality flare nut wrenches to replace the rear wheel cylinders. I mean GOOD QUALITY like snap on. Good luck. |
