Answer: OK, I've done some research ,as far as I can tell 2001-2013 Jettas call for special tool T10162A, which is nothing more than an 18mm triple square bit. I would buy this kit , which I have , and use a half inch ratchet or breaker bar , not for impact tools. Torque is 180nm + 180 degrees.
