| Answer: | Lot of misinformation here, the manual never states 25 feet away from human activity, it states 25 feet from your pool/patio. The reason for that is to maximize the coverage area. If you were to put the unit in your backyard right by the house it would cover 25 feet in front, however if you placed it 25 feet away from tour house you would get a coverage area with a 50ft diameter (25ft front and 25ft back up to your house). The chemical attractant is not needed however it may increase your chances of killing mosquitoes (it supposedly contains chemicals that attract certain mosquitoes and biting flies) as not all mosquitoes are attracted to the UV light alone. |
