The Kastking Fishing "Pliers" have the tungsten carbide cutters. As for the tungsten carbide cutter replacement for the pliers, I'm not sure. Email Kastking, and I'm sure they'll be able to help.

Answer:	I know you can use transparency to transfer images with mod podge /gel medium to wood or paper. These are not food safe, it might transfer, I'm not sure, but it would no longer be edible because if it did transfer it's a layer of plastic type film. You need edible icing sheets to print on.

Answer:	This is not a normal problem with these cutters. I have used mine for a long time and they cut braid with no problem. I do not know of any tips to get them to work. I would return them.

Therefore I cannot answer your question directly

Answer:	I bought these for cutting braided fishing line,which most scissor won’t cut. They work great so I can’t imagine yarns would be a problem for them.
